Hillbilly's turning rate is awful now

Why does Hillbilly's turning rate feel worse now with double boots (30% + 20%) than before the update with 1 single Spiked Boots (45%). Did I miss something? I don't get it.

Not only do I have to use double the addon space now, but it doesn't even feel like I can turn as much as before when I was just using Spiked Boots alone at 45%. This version of Billy feels awful to play on controller. The turning is so stiff. I even had more fun playing him pre Overdrive.

    the way additive % work is that you get first 30% and than next 20% is 20% of 30% which is like… 7-8%? change was done to prevent billy from spamming overdrive with Iri engravings so not every chase for billy begins overdrive iri engraving every chase. i think you can still spam overdrive to some extent on certain maps but time sink is higher.

    billy is notable a lot less effective as killer so he is more in line with how blight is in power-level.

    I think he is in a good place, and isn't boring to play against anymore. I enjoy playing as him still too, can't wait to play him in 2v8 also again hopefully he can instadown again.

    Omg that's so much worse than I thought. My favourite playstyle on Hillbilly was drift king billy, which is just dead now because of his inability to turn even with double boots equipped, and all the clutter on maps and their awful hitboxes.

    This may be an unpopular opinion but I wish this overdrive mechanic was never added. It has led to them changing everything I loved about this killer and at what cost?

    The recovery time is so bad now it feels like old Spiked Boots with the 28% penalty except you can't even turn now!

    I would rather them just revert all these nerfs and them get rid of Overdrive instead. It's not worth it.
