Does blocking a player remove them from matchmaking with you?

It should IMO, it would make the game so much more bareable for me.

Nah, it would be too easy to just block players that are good and avoid going against them, even when they are not cheating

it's not really about cheating anymore, I just cba playing against the blight factory anymore maybe force some variety in my matchmaking.

i get that, but if you could just block good players, imagine a toxic swf or killer that just block everything they cant beat and harass the rest?

You could, but just limit it to like a few or more idk, honestly it's more an issue with matchmaking these days than it is a block system. I do see people can be blocked for being "good", I just wish there was a way to be more in control of what is fun and blocking hackers (legit ones, recently 3 people got insta downed when a game started the other day).
we have zero control over what killer we play against (griefers who intentionall slug, hackers), maybe a limited number of slots a week that get refreshed to prevent abuse.0 -
the thing is as the matchmaking data isnt encrypted, the script kiddies can just force their way in the lobby anyway

Ive blocked people and had the same person show up in the next round. It also didnt block their messages either so i have no idea what it even does

yeah I’d like to see a block system like overwatch, maybe block 3 players at a time for a week, so u won’t be matched with the person, killer or survivor

I have seen some toxic streamers who were doing that. They blocked all their teammates blaming them of losing the match when the streamer was the worst player in the group. Could not facepalm harder after seeing it as I knew that block does not do really anything.

It blocks their friend requests if you are using the ingame friendlist system but if you play on steam it does not use it.
