For the love of god please address slugging for the 4k

I am so tired of having 4 minutes of my time wasted… at least give us the option to concede so we can move on.

Otherwise please implement the rumoured basekit unbreakable for at least end game…

I've always though that maybe alongside hatch, another object would always spawn in main building or basement or something that the killer can interact with to "offer" the 3 souls they sacrificed and kind of "end" the game on their own terms, letting the last survivor get an escape, but the killer get a BP bonus. Like a way to quickly end the game once you've killed 3 players without needing to go hunting for hatch or the last survivor.

Make the animation to offer the souls satisfying, give a nice sacrifice points bonus to the killer for doing it to really show that the killer wins. That might incentivize killers that slug to secure a 4k to be content with 3k cause they've officially "won".

While not as good as a systemic fix, I recommend running Plot Twist.

Slugging is very powerful right now in general. Any time you're about to go down, I recommend using Plot Twist to put yourself in the dying state. It will force the killer to have to pick you up.

It'll most likely dissuade the killer from slugging you for the 4k, too.

But why should I have to be reduced to 3 perks to choose from to avoid a crappy game mechanic?

Not attacking you for suggesting this but over the years there have been all kinds of ridiculous build suggestions to counter perks/mechanics that ultimately got nerfed/changed

But then the Killer could just drop you again and let you bleed out. I'm not sure that you'd still be able to pick yourself up with Plot Twist at that point…

I just want a concede option, I don't care if the killer gets an incentive or whatever, I just don't want to be stuck in a match on the ground for 4 minutes while my team mate waits it out for hatch.

    Pretty good idea,
like if there is only one extra survivor in the game other than you then after 1min you get the option to speedbleed out?

    or perhaps less 30 seconds?

Either way I agree to this idea, there should be a timer on how long the 4K slugging experience can go on for
and the max bleedbar is not it!

I ask bHVR can we agree that being slugged for 240 seconds is too much?
If we can agree on that then we can discus how long time should be given to the Killer when he won.

If a survivor has been slugged for 60 seconds, then the game should automatically teleport them to a 2v8 hook.

    1. The slug timer is now 60 seconds
    2. If the slug timer reaches 0, teleport the survivor to a 2v8 hook
    3. If a survivor is hooked or caged, reset the slug timer to 60 seconds

This suggestion stops killers from letting the 3rd survivor bleed out on the ground, when they try to slug for the 4k. The 3rd survivor would auto teleport to a 2v8 cage, and the 4th survivor actually has a chance to rescue them.

It also ends games earlier, when all the survivors are slugged, and none of them can pick themselves off the ground.

This can be a double edged sword because some see the act of Plot Twisting as a grave slight towards them as you are denying them BP, leading to even more toxic matches.

    Man, people are lame.

If you don't intend to slug, survivors Plot Twisting and dodging an attack is one of the funniest things you can encounter as a killer.

I'd honestly be more afraid of turning the killer friendly when I wanted a serious match.

I mean that's just a buff to slugging. Now slugging killers could get hook states for free without altering their playstyle.

How often are survivors being slugged for over 60 seconds, when their teammates could easily pick them off the ground?

And if 60 seconds isn’t longe enough, then make the timer longer. But there should be a point where the game can say “clearly the killer isn’t going to pick up the slugged survivor, and none of the other survivors are going to pick up the slugged survivor, so let’s just move them to a cage”

base kit ub was a good idea and i am tired of pretending it was not, the only problem with the system was that swf was able to exploit it and that is a problem of swf not base ub

Once more idv has the surrender option for both sides if games are going south and no one is punished, whoever surrender the opposing side keeps all their points and other side still keep whatever they made.

Yeah I am okay with this, I feel keeping people in matches that are done, especially (as per thread topic) for 4 minutes where they can no longer play the game is not fun or fair.

I don't want easy outs, I just don't want my time wasted due to a mechanic killers are playing around.

Hatch is the problem I agree but hatch isn't going anywhere unfortunately.

Which is why I would like the ability to move on rather than have 4 minutes of my time wasted over and over.

Tbh at this point: if two survs are sacrificed just actually end the match and balance accordingly. - Actually lean into the stomp or be stomped. Either ll or nothing - no close matches anymore. \*s

seriously though; any solution that aims at ending the match quicker once it's 2v1 and one's a slug does effectively do that.

At this point the best surv experience is to not want to be one of the last two. Get OTR and/or DS to not screw the other survs over if they for some reason want to try and just make sure you get out of the match as one of the first two while collecting as many BP/challenges as possible/doing as much of what you like to do during a match.
