Who can use Alien Instinct the best?

I cannot really figure it out, other than the Blight who can make use of the Perk due to his speed, is there anybody else? Or is the Perk just bad for any average Killer?

Alien Instinct is kind of just not very good and I'd love to see it tweaked a little, but I'd say hypothetically the killers who'd use it best are the ones who can approach from odd angles?

For most killers, if you see the hook notification and become Oblivious, you know what direction they're coming from- they're at the hook, they're walking towards you. So, killers who have a teleport would probably be the best users, because they could be coming from any direction?

That's just spitballing, though, I haven't tested it or anything.

Probably Legion or Plague, perks that require injured survivors tend to work the best on the two characters that keep the entire team injured at all times

Oh yea I guess it could work very well on Mint Rag Hag or The Dredge, I wish the Oblivious was longer because 20 seconds just isn't really realistic for most Killers to make use out of.

it can be useful on sadako as she doesn’t make any sound when manifested if she’s undetectable - you just need to teleport to a tv that’s not too far from the person that’s oblivious.

It's not a good perk. It's just worse than BBQ in most cases.

The Oblivious effect is quite short and it also gives away that the perk is present.

But to answer the question, probably Legion or Plague since they're good at keeping survivors injured. I still don't recommend it though

Yea it's quite bad, I have just tested it on The Dredge and if I didn't have an anti-healing build (Sloppy Butcher & Leverage) I wouldn't get any value, but it was quite helpful that match, but I also cannot recommend it on anyone, because like you said, it's just worse BBQ…

Sadako is a killer I would have in mind. She can TP towards the aura and doesn't need to demanifest when coming out of the tv due to the oblivious effect.

Might catch someone of guard, because most people use the short amount of tr that is present in between coming out of TV and demanifesting to determine if she is approaching or not.

Was tossing up between Plague, Spirit, Wraith and Sadako initially weighing up consistent value, and/or the mobility to capitalise.… However Plague lacks map traversal, and the others already have stealth built in...

However after thinking about it, I would say Dredge might have good use for it... since he doesn't get stealth reliably until Nightfall, benefits keeping people injured, and does have the mobility to capitalise on it, while also not having a global tell that he is teleporting...

He might actually have one of the few powers to successfully psyche out and get slowdown power on a survivor with it.

It would be better if it applied Oblivious to all injured survivors so that it wasn't immediately obvious who had been revealed to the killer. Was it you, or was it the other injured survivor? You won't know until the killer comes to get one of you.

This and Hysteria? Perma oblivious? Sounds interesting for Plague and puts a real hurt on survivors not giving her her power... 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Strangly not so synergistic for Legion, but not bad for them either.

It's way worse BBQ with announce that killer knows where you are, so I don't see a reason to use it at all on any killer.

I actually quite like pairing it with Friends till the End because you often times get two auras at once without BBQ's distance requirement and the effects can throw survivors into chaos, especially since the activation condition means one of their teammates is already on hook. Pair with Lethal Pursuer and a Slowdown perk and I've been able to use it about as much as the average build.

A niche use, and I do wish the Oblivious in the perk was buffed since 20 seconds is nothing, but I like it for what it is.

i'd rework it to make nearest survivor reveal their aura. it would be decent perk to hook someone and than chase nearest person away from hook.

Injured person is bad and the oblivious is silly, obvious could easily change to also be 10 seconds of undetectable so that survivor does not know that the perk is in play. Showcases Hunting the predator nature of the perk.

I'd recommend using it on Oni. you can hook someone, press his ability and then down injured survivor if you beeline to them. that is the best case usage i found.
