Secret Offerings
So at the moment the only offerings that are secret (that are actually used) are moris and Shroud of Binding. Instead of just those being secret and obvious to what they are, why not give every offering a chance to be secret? This is what i mean:
- If no 'Secret Offerings' have been selected at the start of a match, a random offering is chosen to be hidden
- If only 1 'Secret Offering' has been selected at the start of a match, that offering is chosen to be hidden (this is what happens ingame anyway)
- If more than 1 'Secret Offering' has been selected at the start of the match, the 'Secret Offering' with the highest rarity is hidden and all other offerings are visible
Because of this you'll never know if a hidden offering is just a simple bloodpoint booster or a pink mori.

I have a more simple idea: secret offerings are hidden to all people except the owner in the foggy screen.

but if you were a killer nothing would change, survivors would still know what the offering is

We could also just make all non-party streamer/ event offerings hidden.

I would like to know when someone uses a salt pouch or jar of salty lips as survivor or killer. Offerings are perfectly fine as they are. If its a mori it's hidden, if survivors are gonna start together, you know it. It is what it is. How will this affect the gameplay?

Because most Survivors DC when they see Killer secret offerings - it's either a mori or starting the trial all seperated. Survivors DC becasue Killers who offer moris play in the cheapest, most toxic way possible: hook a survivor and then tunnel the unhooked survivor to mori, repeat.
Killers shouldn't be able to use Moris unless Survivors are dead on hook/3rd hook.
To bring clarity to the imbalance of moris, it's like if Survivors had an offering that would complete the last 2 gens after the 3 gens are complete. Or once all 5 gens are done, the Exit Gates open automatically. Killer Mains would crash this web site if an offering like that ever existed.
It's complete and utter BULLSHIT.

Offerings shouldn't even appear as hidden. Everyone always disconnects when they see me using a mori.

Also the splinters to try out a killer, there have been multiple times where I think a killer has a mori, but it turns out they were just testing out a killer for a game or two.

Secret offerings should not appear at all, until the trial ends.
