DBDs Forgotten Killer FT. Scott Jund

In the video Scott said her skill floor is higher than Nurse and implied her skill ceiling is high which is why her kill rate is low. You may dislike Artist but that doesn't mean she doesn't have one of the highest skill floors and ceilings in the game. The video you posted supports it takes a lot of skill to play to play Artist.

She’s like the twins and hag, rare to see but miserable when the time comes. In my lobbies for some reason, ever since the 7.7.0 update when artist got her own tome I’ve seen way more even after the tome and rift was over. The only option realistically in a chase against her is hold W when she places a bird and that’s boring for artist and the survivor since there is no looping it’s just holding W

who tf records their scrims unless they're streaming that?
just look up any comp artist gameplay and you'll see what im talking about. her entire chase is focused around that consecutive zoning gameplay where you slowly corner survivor with your power. aka you're forcing them to play not one loop, but multiple. +there's some mechanical stuff involved obv, but that's secondary.

As much as i wanna sympathize that you didn't watch a full Scott Jund video, i need to tell you its just 2:50 in that he says she has a high skill floor and ceiling.
You did not even watch the full video that you linked and used as an argument, you did evidently did not even watch half of it.

the artist is fun to play if you don’t play her in the anti loop type of way once you get into that playstyle she starts to feel stale
2 -
Try to win while not doing that antiloop playstyle

Guarding both gates at the same time from any place on the map. Even more so at 1 gate and crow hitting the other.

That and several things:
More reliable mid-long range damage than other range Killers especially on maps with poor LOS, high loops, wonky collision boxes (Eyrie and Nostromo for example) and indoor maps.
Can force survivors to leave gens across the map.
Is 115% despite having a good long range option.
Not reliant on chase or even regression perk, can use detection perks to snowball and bulldoze survivors effectively.

Not the lowest pick rate on nightlight. In the video its something like 7th lowest according to Nightlight. At the time I'm posting this she is listed 9th lowest.
Also Scott seems to be arguing against the default anti-loop strategy and encouraging the shotgun approach.
Change her? No. Having niche style killers is absolutely fine given how many killers are in the game.
As a survivor I've never found her particularly boring to play against nor seen people more likely to give up against her (same when I play Artist, though I don't play her much).

I can't stand her noises. Her squelching and squawking triggers my misophonia

What stats do you have that suggest that survivors go next more often against Artist than any other killer ? Considering that she has one of the lowest kill rates I doubt that's the case as survivors usually don't give up against killers they can easily beat.

Cause there are now better killers than her, such as Unknown.

I literally had 2 back to back artist matches only a day ago.

I don't really see her as a problem. Like you say, she's rarely played. I can handle dealing with her once every 2 months or so.

cough cough lockers… cough cough flashlights… cough cough w+shift… Saying that this killer has no decent counter is hilarious… She's one of the easiest killer to counter without much efforts

Flashlights don't work on her crows and swarms anymore.

Still a good amount of counterplay... Lockers especially will completely deny her power

Me before clicking into the thread:
Which Killer's name is Scott Jund? 🤔

well, i do like both playing as and against the artist. i think her power is fun to use and i also like how controller friendly it is. imo shes balanced, as her power is strong but it has counterplay. if she puts a crow in a loop she can shut it down for a bit and the only option is to leave, but well its how some killer powers work and i dont think its that bad.
anyways, tldr: please dont hate badass bird mommy shes iconic and i love her
