Can we update/change Leatherface PLS!
I can't stand his 5 mile long chainsaw swing , he downs so many teams in the start of the match and everyone just gives up. over 5 games of this in groups (worse in solos) have pushed me to write this post.
I wish he would be fixed to maybe chase and earn tokens to use his chainsaw, this unlimited chain swing is not healthy for the game, there's no other killer like that other than HB and even he's not this unfair imo.
How he works with just bs downing everyone is just bad design, he pretty much counters the "anti camp" system as well with just how he is supposed to play his power. its over tuned, basic, and It's borderline insufferable as a survivor. You WILL spend a good portion of the match in the dying state.
I know perks like Sprint Burst would be good but even then it doesn't get you that far away from him.
Any ideas on how to counter him for now would be appreciated thanks

The only thing I would change is that bubba goes into tantrum if he hits a survivor with endurance.
He can very easily eat through a dead hard, otr, wglf and even bt.
It is very annoying to get tunneled by a bubba because even if the anticamp bar let's you free yourself what is even the point?
The moment you touch ground you get hit and then you have maybe 3 seconds to get somewhere save. 3 seconds is not enough for most tiles or maps.3 -
No clue why he ever got buffed tbh. He is an unstoppable camper who can shred through the Unhooker and the unhooked and the basekit BT AND catch up to their sprint burst and down them.
90% of Bubbas camp. 90% tunnel. 90% slug. Very insufferable to go against. And the 10% who don’t play like that get absolutely destroyed because he is an awful killer. Idk how you could fix him tbh.

If a Bubba downs your whole team at the start of the match or even more Survivors than one that sounds like you or your team issue and not the Bubba's fault, all you need to do is split up, which prevents him from downing multiple Survivors.
His best counter are windows, if you're a good looper you can force an m1 without him being able to use his chainsaw at all, you can also attempt to stun him out of his Chainsaw, but that depends mostly on ping so it might be inconsistent, learning the timing of his tantrum could also save you if you hop into a Locker, so he is forced to go Tantrum or just deplete his sprint.
The only thing I would change is that if he hits a Survivor with the Endurance effect, his Chainsaw stops and gets instantly depleted out of all charges.
If you nerf Bubba too much, for example how he was in the past, people would lean into proxy camping because that's the best thing he could have done in the past due to being weak, keeping him in a decent state like he is now makes people lean more into chasing instead of camping, which I think is a good thing for everybody.

"unhealthy", "bad design", "overtuned". Since when every second post is nothing but list of buzzwords with zero opinion in it?
"Chainsaw swings is not healthy for the game", are you even trying to think about what you're writing? Brain is for thinking, it's not container for buzzwords you can use anytime without context.11 -
if your within radius of a bubba near another teammate and he spots you, i think thats natural selection rather than him being overly strong.

Here here.
By the way, if no one has tried it, the new Deathbound is amazing on Bubba.

When I tried new Deathbound on Vecna, in post-game chat survivor wrote me that… Deathbound is unhealthy perk for the game. This community is flopped, people don't even try to express their thoughts, only use strong buzz words to say that they don't like something in such ludicrous way.

Bubba? OP? Seriously?
Aside from an add-on pass and a bigger grace period after hitting someone with endurance, he's good as he is.

Agreed, it's so tiresome.
Merely stating an opinion doesn't make it valid, you need to argue and support your statement with evidence and reason for it to fly... unfortunately we live in a society that only tends to bother to read the title of a video or a 10 word comment, then form the base of their whole opinion on that alone so they dont know what they're talking about.
It takes effort to actually explore a subject properly, listen to others points of view and really think about it before trying to articulate an actual point or reasoned perspective. Throwing out buzzwords is far easier.... and more often than not attacking the integrity of your opponent is also easier, rather than arguing your own point of view.
Some might worry about a post or comment being too long... I'm of the opinion a post should be as long as it needs to be to ensure the message is strong and clear. 🤘

He's not even a particularly strong killer, and he's beloved by most of the community on both sides. The basekit improvements were needed, all they did was make him less dependent on addons which is a good thing. Balance wise he's in a good spot right now. He definitely doesn't need nerfs.
He can still camp better than almost any other character in the game though, and he can double tap people off hook with his chainsaw still if he hits them immediately with chainsaw then follows them, even if they tried to fix it.
If you really are looking to vent and get tips and learn how to play against Bubba, express your frustration and ask for tips in general discussions instead of saying he should be nerfed and posting it in feedback.

Never like this killer myself and for these reasons
1 = unlike myers ghosty and oni who has to do things for their instant down(stalking myers and ghosty) oni must injure and collect blood. All 3 has limited time on their instant downs not counting perm 3 myers add on. All 3 if they hit someone with their instant down they have attack cool down.
2= Billy if he can only hit one person at a time with his saw and he has attack cool down, while bubba can one person down and still be going to try chain down other survivor in quick sessions and thats just annoying. I find it dumb that his saw seem to ignore things that billy saw dont like trying to hug a huge rock or tree yet his saw iframes and hits you still .
They all run bambi and eats up pallets so unless its a map like leries its a wrap. When they run double iri its a wrap. Its also stupid how I can bait legion to fenzy slash via a locker dodging it and their fatigue lets me get away unlike bubba that keeps swinging after hitting the locker which you got to time perfect when to get out else a free grab for him unless you have head on which shines honesty vs him only
3=His perks Franklin's and knock out sorry to say just gives you feeling that these perks was designed with the thought of being an a hole to people.
I feel he needs to be punished more that if he hits something like a locker he stops, same if he hits down a survivor with a saw he should stop just like every oner killer do with their power. Old bubba was much more fun and took skill compared to this annoying bane, love bullying him in his own game though get poked by a bone scrap doink.

If you read the whole post you'd find the answer you are so rudely searching for, go on a vacation

people have also brought up other great points.

unhooking yourself grants iframes after endurance,if you hold w he cant double down
Tips? Maybe dont universally unite in the same spot, its kinda like, his whole power and all?
Ive seen a p100 bubba and although i got demolished, i respected how skillful he was. He did mind games whilst operating a machine that literally will put you in tantrum at the slightest touch of any surrounding atom

Holy skill issue.
Bubba is an average killer at best. Being able to down multiple people simultaneously with his chainsaw is the only thing keeping him from D Tier.
If anything, they should buff him. And rework his add-ons too, because many of them are garbage.

All I can say is, practice chasing with Window.
If you don't like Franklin, hook up a VC with a friend and say, "Keep your items around the middle gen!"and you can almost ruin one killer perk just by saying.
The only way to deal with knockouts is to lock in before you go down. That way other survivors can see your aura as you are carried by the killer and can figure out where you went down. Or call a friend on VC.

why is it so complicated for a seemingly "basic/average killer" hes clearly strong
