oh I didn’t mean in terms of strength. I meant in terms of memes. The dog can at least make me laugh.

Has it really been so long that people have forgotten on-release Skull Merchant? Or what about when Trickster was first put out? Even Knight's whole goofy emo-hair design?

In terms of aesthetic, I believe she is at least above those two... Although, I must admit that Trickster has grown on me a bit.

Having not played her yet so having no room to speak on the mechanics... My only complaint is the whole "eye patch drawn to the side" thing where it's just pressed against her cheek.

Why not just give her the eyepatch?

There's a new map Ormond Lake Mine in PTB.
But devs announced new map won't come with live server update. They said new map will come before next year eventually.

Not gonna lie, a Neighbours chapter would be sick (if a little out of left field)! Finn Kelly was a top tier soap opera baddie. Finn Kelly, an Erinsborough map and Toadfish as Survivor, let's go!

Personally, I love the design and concept for the new Killer but I can already tell her power is not going to be for me. I prefer playing Killers with simpler powers and from what I've seen, the dog attack seems kinda awkward and a bit clunky in use.

Last year was Sci-Fi and this year was Fantasy, I wonder if a nautical theme might be what we're likely to see in 2025? I'd be totally down for that, since I love the ocean / seaside / pirate themed stuff. Sure, The Houndmaster isn't your standard obvious pirate design, but I think that makes her a more creative design. And I'm sure she'll get more "traditional" pirate fits further down the line.

The new Ormond map looks very cool and all, but It's still a bit disappointing to see the Houndmaster won't be getting her own map. Why? Don't tell me BHVR passed on the opportunity to give us a tropical island map with a pirate ship, treasure, a hideout and all that good stuff. That would be tragic. But like I said, maybe we'll get more pirate themed chapters later on in the year…

I agree, dull design, there's nothing likeable about this killer, the original killers have been a letdown for me recently, the hound idea is ok but everything else isn't, the design especially the dog design, they really choose a pitbull.. really bad take of a houndmaster design they could've gone for.

They really love making killer designs nobody likes, I'm sure everyone was dying to see some old lady with a killer pitbull out of all dogs...

Your last sentence doesn't work because you don't seem to understand that they can't make everyone happy.

Couldn't agree more, the fact they choose a pitbull, just in a very poor taste design of this killer especially for people that have been hurt by pitbulls irl which is not very uncommon among dog attacks.

It sucks since it seems to be the direction they're taking, what sucks even more is you can't even say something about it without being called a hater, how dare you not like something that's been getting backlash time and time again in the past for obvious reasons. This killer will not be well received solely because of that especially since at this point people are really fed up with it but it seems someone at BHVR is really pushing for it.

    • for me this woman had to wear a vintage type military uniform, speak in German (there is a very strong tradition for dog training in Germany), a more hoarse and decisive voice (her voice is too cute and standard) , and not have a stick as a weapon but a whip or a chain. In short, his appearance isn't bad, but his "standard" skin looks like a rift cosmetic. I'll post a photo to show you what I mean.

What's more scary, an old lady with a dog, or 4 masked people chasing you with a knife?

You're right but it looks a lot more like a pitbull on how buff it is.

    Ah, I was thinking Elly Conway as the survivor, because of the close connections to Finn, but I would totally be down for a Toady Legendary skin! Could be fun to make a Neighbours Chapter concept! {{by the way, if you liked that, how about my Visceral skin idea for Huntress - The Poop Killer!}}

It would be interesting to see where the next year goes in terms of theme. Nautical could be an idea, and I reckon it could be expanded towards exploration in general. They could use that to delve into more country-specific legends. I do think this Chapter follows the fantasy setting, so maybe we need to wait until the original survivor comes out early next year. I love the ideas though.
