Why can't y'all just remove penalties?
There's so much toxicity between teammates not doing generators as well as killers camping and tunneling someone who's not even obsession to the point where you're not having fun So in a world where we only live once so you have to make the most of your time who wants to waste their time on something that I'm having fun that is meant to be fun So my thing is they're not going to actually balance the game on Nerf anything these killers can actually do like stopping you from doing gins like the lockup Gin perk or Michael Myers tier 3 killing everyone they're not going to nerf that or make that once per trial or something like how some survivor perks are once per trial so why can't they just take away penalties then like the game will be a lot more tolerable if they take away penalties not to mention add game chat.

- They have removed the penalty in the past but people love showing the devs why a penalty is needed
- They are nerfing both tombstone add-ons in the upcoming patch update
- They dont need to add in-game chat

If they take away penalties entirely, then there won't be any penalties at all for leaving the match you queued up for, meaning more survivors are going to do it and ruin the match for everyone else involved.
Needing to leave a match every once in a while is totally understandable, even if it's just because you aren't having fun, but you shouldn't be able to do it more than every once in a while without some kind of penalty. Other people are trying to play too, when you queue up you're agreeing to play the match out unless there's some extreme circumstance preventing you from doing so.
If you find you have to leave a match for fun-related reasons really frequently, maybe consider taking a break? It kinda sounds like you shouldn't be queuing up at all in that case.

I think this is the only game I've ever seen that people really want the penalties to be removed and its quite amazing.
But saying that penalties need to stay

Because removing penalties only makes the game worse as people would just leave whenever compared to "Oh we might have a chance here". Sure you can say "well if they give up on hook you don't get a bot" when the bots in question just aren't that reliable.

I hated this idea of no penalties before the DC bots. Now that the bots are here I'm good with it. The bot will often give more value than a survivor who doesn't want to be in the game and will either give up on hook or otherwise try to get killed. Letting people leave now as they want to may improve the game quality for those who stay.
Hard no to in-game voice chat though. Chat wheel yes; in-game chat no

The bots are not good enough to replace your average DBD player by a long shot. Whenever a bot activates, the trial is going to be far harder and more likely to fail (granted, only from personal experience).
When somebody quits, the trial is made more miserable for the other players regardless. With that in mind, the DC penalties should stay. If the bots become much more competent, I may be inclined to re-evaluate my position. Unfortunately, the present situation isn't enough to compensate the game for those wanting to continue on after somebody quits, so penalties should remain.

Then people will dc over the slightest inconvenience, wiith all the dcs already happening with the penalty imagine if there was none.

If you aren't having fun why even play?

Im not disagreeing with you at all, but I want to point out that bots are 'usually' better team mates. Sadly lol

I absolutely agree. Selfish d-bags are going to ruin the game for other people no matter what. No DC penalty means there will be less people killing themselves on hook and/or actively trying to ruin the game.
I can win a game with a bot or two. Can't do much when someone immediately makes the game a 3v1 or 3v2.

Removing DC penalties allows people to DC over the slightest frustration. I do not want to play with bots every single match. The bots are stupid and slow and can't be relied on to perform the simplest of tasks. Playing with bots regularly would make the game so much worse.

If your games are going so poorly that you feel the need to disconnect in most of them, I suggest taking a break from playing. Not only would you be doing yourself a favor, but you'd also be helping your teammates, who would appreciate having someone on their team who actually enjoys playing and isn’t constantly thinking of leaving. It’s a win-win for everyone.

Each and every time they have to for whatever reason turn off the DC penalties evil things happen. Every time.
Players proceed to leave immediately for the slightest inconvenience. It could be an unfavorable map, a killer they don't like, a too-long first chase, being found first, a perk they dislike versing, etc. The bots are too iffy, and certainly cannot replace a competent surv. Prolly never will.
Then the trials get quickly out of hand. Nope those penalties should stay.
