If everything is "doubled up" persay then how come it's 8 generators instead of 10? I just find going from 5 to 4 odd

It really should be with gens going this fast.

I'm guessing because two of the survivor classes (Medic and Scout) encourage staying off gens to get value

I think its cause maps really cant handle 15 gens if it was 10. Even with 13 you get a clump of 7 gens in 20m circle on most.

I try to break up the teams that move from generator to generator. Also, pay attention to the people who hide near the generators when the group scatters.

Because the maps aren't twice as big.

It’s because BH is giving survivors what they want. A mode that ensures killers function just as a dumb chasing npc so survivors can win every game and mock them. It’s the single most survivor mode ever created, that’s why queues are like this etc. Idk what they were thinking when they made those perks. At least is evident that killers won’t play if we keep going in this direction.

When do killer mains stop playing? Let me know so I can finally get into a game as killer without waiting 20 minutes.

That's why everyone wants to play killer?

Its an appealling concept. New mode, a mess around thing. I dont mind it as a temporal mode. My concern is about the direction it hints BH wants to go. The balance should be programmed in what survivors are capable off not to simplify it all so it becomes a dumb version of the game, just like this mode. There has to be certain skill and a sense of achievement for escaping.

So true😅

I think my issue was with the killers they brought in more than anything. I don't hate facing Blight and Spirit, but two of the strongest killers in the game added in when Nurse and Billy are already there. For such a limited killer roster, the top 4 are all there. Gen speeds being all over the place is fun but wonky, and the two issues only really serve to inflate each other in my opinion.
Overall, the mode feels choked by the objectives of regular gameplay. If I were to suggest something, maybe just ditch gens altogether and give the survivors a 5-7 minute timer before the gates power. Toss in a few optional objectives that give buffs so survivors don't just stealth all game, and it can naturally transition into a hatch game if a certain amount die before the timer reaches a certain point. Classes could then be a bit more varied as people don't just default to the one that buffs the objective interaction, and then add more of the weirder killers.

That time limit sounds interesting. Reminds me a little of calling the police in F13

Because nothing says "waste a bunch of time off gens" like instant 50% health bar abilities, plus the regular heal speed boost.

No clue. The gens go so fast, 8 of them is nowhere near enough. Whether the killers team up for really quick downs, or split pressure across the map, survivors are always doing multiple gens somewhere. And then they get a gen boost from hooks.

Not sure if you've played Medic, but there's a cooldown on the 50% instant heal. You have the ability to see injured survivors, I'm assuming because the point of the role is to traverse the map and keep people healed. So yeah, the role's abilities are designed to keep you off gens.

It doesn't seem to make sense but it mostly works out, oh and BHVR added a ton more chests which act as slowdown as survivors cant help but sabotage their team by opening chests constantly instead of doing gens.

what are you talking about?? The killer queue times are long because more people want to play killer. Your statement made zero sense

So let’s take your logic or what killers are capable of then. Nurse…… she’s CAPABLE of 4k’ing every single game. So then nerf killers? No. You don’t balance something because of the POTENTIAL someone can do. There’s skill ceilings and why some people are better than others. Another statement from you that makes zero sense.
