Is Map Repeat Prevention off?
I just got Ironworks twice in a row.

I got auto haven like 10 times today….. like god it was annoying.

There are 2 versions of Ironworks and Autohaven now, you could be alternating between them.

Autohaven Wreckers is a realm. The map repeat prevention only works on individual maps, not realms.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that of the original 3 realms, only Macmillan Estate got alt versions of its maps.

I went to Crotus Penn six times in a row tonight and had a streak of three matches in Disturbed Ward. I'm pretty sure no repeats is still on, so if it's just a bit buggy.

They turn it off in certain circumstances, like if maps are boosted. They've potentially turned it off for 2v8, but that's just me guessing.
As others have mentioned though, variants are their own map in the system. You can, for example, get Badham multiple times in a row. I got it 3 times in a row once because I went to Badham 3, Badham 1 and then Badham 4. Map offerings also ignore the system. The MacMillan realm has 2 variants each map, so you can get Ironworks twice in a row.

Have just checked in on this, no map repeat prevention is working exactly as it should. It doesn't prevent going to a map if an offering is used and it's naturally not switched on for 2v8 so it's only on the base game, but there shouldn't be any instance of going to the same map back to back (unless an offering was used), you can of course go to the same realm, and it's quite possible to have that back to back.

I was in 1v4, and I'm pretty sure a map offering wasn't used (not certain, though, I could be wrong), different killers each time. Do the variations count as separate maps in terms of the repeat prevention?
Thanks for checking it out either way, appreciate it.

yes the variations will count as different maps, which might be what you've experienced

That's probably the case then! Thank you for checking once again.
