Am I playing Deathslinger correctly?
I decided to try him out but I'm not sure if I know what I'm doing...
In this clip from a custom match, I shoot, reel in and hit Survivor with my gun. Am I supposed to keep chasing the same Survivor after this or deep wound more Survivors like The Legion?
Also, sometimes I'll reel them in and swing my gun but it doesn't hit them.

You definitely shouldn't be playing slinger like legion, if they are looping you really hard you should give up chase but being very non-comital is not the way to play him. As for the swinging and not hitting them it could be server issues or you just missed.

The deep wounds doesn't last long enough to justify the amount of time it takes Slinger to actually inflict it. Legion doesn't waste nearly as much and can put the entire survivor team in deep wounds in less than a minute. One tip I can give is to always let the chain break if you can't get the hit as it damages the survivor and still puts them in deep wound. You should also be looking out for narrow holes and gaps as the Slingers redeemer hit box is extremely small so while it is more difficult to hit, you can hit some very unfair and nutty shots.

Ok what do you mean by always let the chain break? As in shoot them but not reel them in all the way?

Only if you can't land a hit. Let the chain break off. If you don't and swing then the survivor isn't damaged.

Then that's exactly what's been happening to me! So, the spear alone won't cause any damage if I break the chain? No injury nor deep wound?

Nothing will happen if you swing and break the chain but if you let it the survivor break it then they get damaged and deep wound
