game breaking bug in 2v8 (major)
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
Lost pretty much all interactivity in a 2v8 match after being grabbed from a cage as Lara croft, I couldn't do gens , get others from cages, pull pallets, or vault windows. I would also seemingly float about the place, animations for when you reach second stage of being in a cage would also seemingly start possibly around the time i would have been in the cage had I not been rescued. All these animation bugs were client side only based off what my friends on call were saying, the floating also seemed to be client side as well.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
step 1 launch DBD
Step 2 join a game of 2v8
Step 3 get placed into a cage
step 4 be rescued from the cage
(lose off pretty much all interactivity happens after this stage)
Step 5 not be able to do most things in a dbd match

The same thing has happened to me; also on Steam. I play solo queue so I have no idea what it looked like for other people but it was very frustrating.

Also experienced this bug last night. I played two games last night before deeming DBD too buggy to continue. The first game, I had this glitch - after being uncaged the second time, I floated around, my camera was desynced, my movement was jerky and stuttering, and I was unable to interact with anything.
The second game, I did not experience this bug myself (I never got downed), but I noticed as the match went on that many of my teammates were not doing anything on the HUD and couldn't be interacted with… which is circumstantial, but matches my own experience in the previous game. Additionally, survivors were appearing caged or floating next to a cage (with a cage aura that could be seen mapwide), but on the HUD were not caged. Trying to interact with the fake cage or heal the survivor next to it caused the game to stutter, the action to immediately cancel, and the prompt to reappear. Survivors who were caged on the HUD could be uncaged and healed normally.
I was also unable to use my active ability even though it was charged; I used it once at the start of the match and from there, pressing F did nothing.
Also, in both games, players were appearing invisible or not attached to the object they were interacting with (ex, Jake would run up to me next to a gen, start to work on the gen, and he'd warp over to repair a nearby totem for the next 30 seconds.) Interactions with the killers were normal, thankfully.

Damn, I didn't search the reports enough. Just made a report for this exact thing. Maybe one of you wants to check the video footage I made to confirm it's the same bug.
