The thing that really gets under my skin (rant):

When the unhooked survivor body-blocking for healthy unhooker, and then disconnecting after getting downed again.

Playing a lot of soloq recently (I hate everything):

Soloq match against a Clown (kudos to this guy, awesome killer player), on Crotus Prenn Chapel map, so Lara was downed and hooked - clown went away - I unhooked her and started to heal her, while healing her - Clown went back to the hook, and started chasing me (unhooker), I ran into the main building through one of the narrow doors just to witness how Lara completely body-blocked the Clown at the same door.

He didn't hit her, he was just looking at her (probably counting), then she suddenly starts running (timer ran out), got downed again, and instantly DCed.

This Lara wasn't a new player, just to mention. Probably high amount of h in the game.

Fair question: How many years needs to pass buy for survivor players to understand a simple thing - you got unhooked - do not body-block for the healthy unhooker who's not even been hooked once. Get out of the killer's sights and get to other teammates for heals.

I'm sorry, but stuff like this should be BASIC. Basic understanding of what to do and what not.

Lara's bot didn't help us to get at least 1 escape. Clown 4k - deserved, actually happy for him.

I hope Lara Croft player have a wonderful and great evening!

I know the feeling, my friend, it is really unfortunate when the unhooked survivor body-blocks for an unhooker that doesn't need it, especially if the unhooked survivor doesn't have DS or OTR or anything else.

Bodyblocking is the correct play sometimes, but when it isn't it doesn't accomplish anything except make the situation worse for the other survivors.

Not sure why they DCed though.

I don’t know what happened in your specific situation but I’ve seen the unhooked accidentally (or sometimes what looks to be forced by the unhooker) bodyblock the killer. Then they’ll be hit or tunneled or whatever, then go down, and D/C or throw. But in a way I find it justified.

I can assure you - 100% was NOT accidentally. She deliberately went to body-block the Clown at the door. DC isn't justified, she made a big mistake and then dipped on everyone after.

Not cool, not smart and not good play.

I mean, this mistake is very well known, I thought experienced survivor players (again, this Lara wasn't new at all) should've known for now that this is not the right play, yet still it's happening.

Usually I don't care when playing soloq, since I know what I'm signing up for, but these basic mistakes just gets to me.

All was whatever - until she decided to leave. And it wasn't due to bad connection that was an obvious manual Exit button. If she didn't leave - we could've had an actual fun\close game.

    Thank you. ❤️

While I don't think solo queue is as bad as most people say, it is usually where you'll find some of the most questionable plays in DBD. Not to mention the disconnects and hook suicides, of course. Even from experienced players.

One of the worst DBD survivors I have ever seen was a legit Legacy Dwight. And unsurprisingly, he DCed and left us to die, since that was before the bots were added to DBD.

In my opinion it is not the most frustrating thing in the game, but it gets close.

Hopefully you'll get better games today, my friend!

Hell yeah I did, this game was just one on what… 14-16 games? Other than this one was pretty enjoyable. Thank you again, appreciated!!

That is good to know! It always helps to have some good games after a frustrating match.

You know, the thing that annoys me the most in DBD are 360s. I cannot physically handle the sudden change in the direction, to me it feels extremely disorienting. So games where survivors really try to go for spins are miserable .

Getting a good game after one of those certainly helps a lot.

I see. I’m describing a different scenario I’ve seen before but I wonder what triggered that in your game. I wonder if they had some kind of issue beforehand. It all seems very odd

No, nothing special tbh, I've seen the same thing very often when I was playing a killer. When the unhooked survivor was trying body-block and take the endurance hit for a healthy unhooker. It feels like they don't know that killer can just wait when the timer will runs out and then hit.

Such moves were always odd to me, what is the point of protecting the guy who's healthy and haven't been hooked yet? These moves just basically asking the killer to tunnel you.
