Totems need a grace period of 5 seconds, so if a survivor screams they can resume their progress
Totems need a grace period of 5 seconds, so if a survivor stops cleansing or blessing them, the progress doesn’t immediately get reset to 0%.
This would allow screaming perks to exist, and not need to be nerfed, because survivors would scream, then be able to resume their current progress on the totem.

Why would even totems reset to 0%?
It's not quick action like sabotage, if I found Devour totem, I shouldn't have to spend half of the match trying to cleanse it.

long story short, I suggested making totems 32 seconds, but totems regress instead of instantly resetting0 -
I disagree, all that happens is giving the killer too much time to protect Totem and this is worse with killers who have the ability to cross the map quickly.
What you should do is fix the totems locations and put it in more hidden places.

I don’t think this will help, since in any case there will be scenarios for survivors spawning next to totems and remembering spawn locations, totems offer a high risk for a small reward, either the reward should increase or the risk decrease

If you found Devour you shouldnt cleanse it for free, so get good and stop complaining
