So what are the point of Map Offerings now?

Map Offerings flood our bloodwebs each costing 3250 bp, but you recently in this new patch made Sacrificial Ward into a common map offering costing 2000 bps. I'm hoping this is a quickfix for some greater plans in the future because honestly this is making me even more unsatisfied with the current system.

What is the purpose of running map offerings if it can be countered by such an cheap and available addon?

Why does the bloodweb HAVE SO MANY map offerings?

Why dont we have other types of addons?

Clearly many people hate to see map offerings for actual or perceived map advantage, im not sure its actual map advantage but if the offering clearly makes people sad and miserable, Why dont we just remove those offerings and put in some less intrusive and more fun for people?

I implore you bHVR put questions about the Map Offerings on the next Questionaire and let us guide your decision, you HAVE to improve the offerings section of this game its LONG overdue and its driving the community up against eachother please.

Bingo. There have been many complaints about map offerings giving "unfair advantage". So bhvr finally does something, and makes it a little easier to bring sacrificial wards. Seems fair enough. I still don't usually see them in most lobbies.

I don't want to use them, its such a bad design, they want me spend this offerings profusely to protect myself from awful maps? When do I then get to use my salty puddings? Survivors have 4 offering slots, I have 1 all they need it 1 offering.

I will never praise this as fair, cause it simply isnt. The only sensible thing would be delete map offerings imo
Which would be nice cause im tired of wasting my bloodpoints of map offerings that dont benefit the specific Killer im playing as.

The ideas surrounding map offerings have been there for years. I've always thought they should block that realm from appearing rather than bring you to it as a sort of "ban" system like a lot of competitive games do.

I much rather have there be no map influence via offerings, except only via the system that is supposed to make sure each player goes to a new realm the next map. the system of which the map offerings override.

In my opinion, offerings should never have an influence of a match. Map offerings are too strong, easy to abuse, and unhealthy for the game. But I highly doubt the developers will remove them. The best thing they can do is to rework them, so they now reduce the chance to go to that realm instead of increasing it. This would also help players who dislike a specific realm (e.g. I hate Eyrie not only for being so boring but also for being so bright that it hurts my eyes and many survivors dislike indoor maps). I also think the hook offering should be reworked because nearly no one uses them but when they use it, it is often alongside a map offering and boring "rather bleed me out and hold me hostage".

The healthiest thing offerings should do is to give BP and the developers should also rework useless offering in offering that give us extra Player XP and rift fragment Points. I like to use BPS and cakes because this gives every player at least something good no matter how the match ends.

If they rework them to cause less of a chance, then I think they just ruined them. People don't want barely useful addons.

Honestly retire them all and then get to work on making new Offerings that change other stuff in trials and when those are released, make them replace the retired map offerings. That way nobody loses anything of value or if that isnt feasible, retire the map offerings and return blood points to the owners for the worth of the offerings. not value lost and we can have peace and play.

One of the many lame ideas the Devs cook up to pacify their star child Killer Mains.

Well as a philosopher once said, You can't both eat your cake, and not eat your cake too….

    Or something like that. 🤣
