Remove DC penalty

This morning I played 5-6 matches and 3 of them were against bot nurse insta killing. These cheaters have multiple accounts playing 24/7 for the last 3-5 days.

Don't you think to disable DC penalty if you cant ban and track all these hackers? EU server gets attack by them and people cant play the game because you not only getting insta killed but also get DC penalty each time.

Im asking you to get rid of penalty at least for the week or so while you be banning these hackers, of course if you do this.

True, I also faced that cheating insta killing Nurse, dc penalty should be max 5 min at least or 10 min if more than 10 dcs\afks

I agree, disable this DC penalty, and ban this cheater with a model of cheating, seach these cheats with dc penalty and instant lock to 4x4.

Funny you should say this, as stated by numerous people here and in the steam forums, yesterday i had encountered a cheating nurse also.

I spent last night and this morning reading about this. Seems on Steam they require something called an SSL but on other platforms its 'easy as pie' for them to abuse their cheats. I had a match 2 days ago where 4 people, correct me if i'm wrong as i am new to this game, had been self healing constantly. What i am saying is that once i had downed them they auto revived back up instantly within a few seconds. I had searched and found said perk can only be used 1x per match. If i have my information wrong do forgive my ignorance. It was only after reading the perk that I had realised what I had witnessed.

What i find even more baffling is that without actually recording, as it seems has to be a step of the process, the report isn't taken very seriously. I personally do not wish to keep running obs and other recording platforms every time i play this game. I wish just to relax. Surely they can implement a SB system. Enough reports, well, we will investigate your account. Give it a couple days max. Better yet, maybe there can be a system where the match is tracked or something and they can review the gameplay. I am aware all i state is effort but to say more or less ' We need video evidence on top of a report' is kind of silly, forgive my phrasing, as at least 50% of people will simply not be asked for the sake of inconvenience or pc power, right?

I reported all three cheaters that morning with evidence no problem for me at all. I’m just tired of their ignorance. It has been happening 3-5 last days and surely thousands of people have already reported these hackers, yet they didn’t do anything. So at least they could disable this penalty if it’s not possible to bring a good anticheat to the game or block these accounts in time.

They should increase the punishment for DC, the amount of survivors quitting matches lately is gigantic, and they don't have any punishment for it, they just wait 1 minute in the lobby and they are already looking for another match.

Those cheater accounts do get banned, by the way. But cheaters like this usually have ways to create new accounts that get around IP and hardware bans. Some of the cheaters I went against had Twitter accounts where they bragged about how often they get banned and how they have the means to immediately create a new account. They flaunted it so proudly.

Edit: Oops, I misread what was said. My bad. Deleted the non-applicable stuff.

To respond properly to OP's concern, I do not think the game needs to disable the DC penalty. I think there's something wrong with the way the DC penalty is applied and it needs to be fixed. There have been matches where I definitely wasn't AFK and I definitely didn't disconnect, and I'd sit there and spectate after I died while my friend played, and then when he finished the match and we returned to the lobby we'd discover I had a DC penalty for some reason. It's happened more than once and I don't know what triggers it. I think the matches where it happened had me get re-hooked nearly instantly after being unhooked, but I couldn't say for sure. Doesn't matter, it's a problem and BHVR needs to fix it or disable whatever AFK-sniffing code they think they've put in there.

How does the DC penalty come into play if youre being insta killed? Just take the death and go next, not like it will be a long match.

From what I read in another comment, if a Survivor gets insta-killed without being able to do anything, the game treats it as though they were afk and they get a DC penalty for that.

If that kind of cheating is running rampant, maybe the penalty does need to be removed, or at least capped. I'd say an hour tops, but that still seems unfair for those who are getting forcefully DC'd by these hackers.

That is not accurate. I have seen it happen to streamers and they do not have a penalty when they get back to lobby. Now it may be that the person who said that didnt move right at the start of the game so that may be why, I'm not sure.

Maybe they just had the one-minute penalty that expires before they return to the lobby.

Everyone who face these bot cheaters get DC penalty. You go in the match - the bot kills all one by one - match ends - you go back to the lobby - penalty. After 3 or 4 matches I got 15 min penalty as I DC'ed by myself but NOT. I know streamers and players who faced them way more and by that they got 1 hour, 1 day penalties. I wouldnt have posted here about the penalty if it was my fault. Like, it doesnt depend on players, they get penalties anyway. Their goal isnt to kill everyone every match they go in, their goal is to give as many penalties as possible so no one be able to play.

Kinda not correct. These hacked bots kill survs and at the same time they have settings to make it look for the game as everyone DC'ed.
