The survivors are cocky when you play these killers

They don't give a rat's ass if you play Houndmaster or Trapper, they'll disrespect you at any opportunity. End game chat is nothing but rude and snark remarks. You know how it goes by now.

Why? Because they KNOW they'll win. No doubt about that. These killers are Garbage tier for a reason. How is behaviour so clueless? You don't see no disrespect when you pick crazy Blight, Tombstone Myers, cracked Nurse or Bubba Sawyers. They'll piss their pants when they see you but the moment you pick Houndmaster or Trapper, the survivors will ######### all over you and laugh then after that, they'll upload it to their TikTok to fill their void and feel some meaning in life albeit marginal.

Tl;dr: Buff Houndmaster and Trapper. Hurry tf up.

Fun fact: If Snug grabs a cocky survivor in the exit gate, Portia has enough exit block time to try another round of fetch the dumb one. Her prize should she win is a free dumb one which she can proudly display on a hook.

Not sure about Houndmaster and Trapper, but I've noticed a massive change in survivor's behavior when playing Skull Merchant.

I don't get a lot of toxicity with Freddy, truth be told. One tbagger here and there, but that's it.

With Skull Merchant, however… the amount of toxicity I've gotten is unreal. Almost the same as it was during my Forever Freddy days, and that is saying something. In those recent games with SM I didn't tunnel anyone, didn't camp, didn't hit them on hook, didn't insult them in the post-game chat. I didn't do anything that could possibly warrant such level of toxicity.

Yes, we know the character's reputation, but the 3-gen matches haven't been possible in a really, really long time. This toxicity I've been getting is unfair, no other word to describe it.

The entire point of her nerfs was to discourage people from playing her. People cheered for those nerfs, not because they wanted a balanced killer but because they never wanted to see her again.

Maybe, but it isn't something that should have been accepted, my friend. In fact, it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

But I am not someone who abandons characters because they got nerfed. If I was, I wouldn't have taken Freddy all the way to P100 during his weakest state ever.

Toxicity or not, I think I'll play her for a while.

I'm just saying why you're getting it. I played her a fair bit too. Survivors tended to quickly off themselves as soon as they SAW me. They didn't wait to see my loadout or anything before calling quits.

Surprisingly, I haven't been getting as many DCs as I thought I would get.

One or two here and there, yes, but I expected worse.

Not being someone who abandons characters due to nerfs is noble, but doesn't change anything outside of 'you'. Praise be to the General!

Honestly, people still playing her here and there is probably good. But if I never saw her again, it's be a wonderful thing.

She will be a wound in DBD's history that simply won't heal. I feel it shouldn't as well. The Chernobyl of DBD's history lol

That said, uhh… does she feel better now with all the nerfs? Are… you winning? lol

Well, as long as you don't DC or suicide on hook every time you see her, you're good in my book.

I'll tell ya, the disdain I feel for Wesker is stronger than the entire Skull Merchant hate train combined with Old Legion's hate train. It is THAT bad. But the teammates I get paired with and the player who just happen to choose the character are not to blame for that.

Their experience cannot be damaged by another's personal feelings.

That said, uhh… does she feel better now with all the nerfs?

No killer would, not after a nerf so severe. I'm no SM expert, but the nerfs were completely unnecessary and in my experience they really, REALLY hurt her.

    Are… you winning? lol

    Well, sometimes:

But that is just how DBD is. The game isn't the perfect loops and strategies we see in videos.

Low tier killers can win games, but that doesn't mean they are in a good spot.

Just reminds me of the old "burgerking" Myers and no blink nurse videos. There would STILL be people who managed to lose to that.

    Damn, that brings back memories!

Burger King Myers was one of my favorite silly builds back in the day, it was so funny!
