Boon: Dark Theory Buff idea!
Your obsessive study of the paranormal has given you unprecedented knowledge of other Realms and planes of existence.
Press and hold the Active Ability button on a Dull or Hex Totem to bless it and create a Boon Totem.
Soft chimes ring out in a radius of 24 metres.
All Survivors benefit from the following effects when inside the Boon Totem's radius:
- Grants a +2 % Haste Status Effect.
- This effect lingers for 2/3/4 seconds after leaving the Boon Totem's range.
- [New] Increases the range of Boon totem and its effects by 8 meters.
Explain:
- With the new effect, Boon: Dark theory can be used with itself or with any Boon perks to increase the range of the Boon totem effect.
It is worth noting that this is only exclusive to Boon: Dark Theory, meaning that if any Boon perks are used except this perk, the range of Boon totem remains the same 24 meters.
In other word Boon:Dark theory can be used with any Boon perks to increase range and effects too.

I like the idea but it’s the fact that 2% is nothing. Maybe 3% would be good but I know people still have ptsd from mft so I doubt dark theory would ever see the light of 3% haste

maybe buff all boon perk to have better radius.
running detective hutch +map with crystal bead with 3 other survivors running 4 boon perks to boon entire map is such a meme build.

It needs an entire rework tbh. The haste is just not working well with the boon formula.

This should be a buff to all boons alongside making them more silent, but I would take it like you suggested, when this means we finally get a boon buff. Dark theory needs to be buffed to 3% and a secondary effect like increasing vaulting speed by 5%.

My subconscious mind is telling me that increasing the vault speed will be the new Boon perk in the future.
I think it will be 10% at best.

I hope they focus on making the old boon perks good before adding another one.

i'd say more as invocation perk. resilience makes you gain 9% vault speed for being injured. maybe they'll make invocation perk that boosts vaulting speed by 10% for entire team.

Pretty solid suggestion I'd say, I really like the idea of a boon totem whose main appeal is making boon builds generally more valuable. Could be a neat way of bringing them closer to viability, especially since that seems to be the basis of bhvr's balancing approach nowadays.

The only thing it needs, is to go from 2% to 3% and extend the duration once outside from 4s to 8s.
