Genuine feedback on flaws for growth
As someone who plays dead by daylight, the customizations is what brings players in. However, the game itself needs so much fixing aiming mostly at the killers. 1) The biggest issue would have to be camping. The bar on the bottom that detects the killer to "avoid camping" to give yourself a better chance to escape is basically useless as campers stand from afar. (maybe add a vote kick button to avoid campers and so players don't waste their time to die in game since you get a penalty to leave). 2) The Knight is the most obnoxious killer to deal with on the fact that his ring which takes over a quarter of the map with his zombie friend which is unescapable and you can't drop pallets on, is just undoable so maybe reduce the circle size 3) Most of these killers have crazy perks which out any perk a survivor could have so maybe reduce the crazy unbeatable ones or add better perks for players. 4) A tutorial for new players (not a new player but i learned everything on my own and to be honest, this game went so dead to the fact that so many issues have gone unfixed so players have either quit or thought the game was just too difficult) 5) Add Ranked lobbies: it would be so much better if you could play with other players around the same level that way you're not stuck with a bot or new players. 6) Just add the mic option already. It's almost 2025 and no kind of communication is available when highly needed but let's be real, not everyone is on dead by daylight discord servers and honestly what is a multiplayer game without a chat or mic option during the game. Players are selfish or just simply lost and the communication would fix this. There's bots in game for a reason now and it's because dead by daylight is dead due to mostly.

- 1) Giving the survivors the ability to kick the killer anytime he doesnt play by their rules isnt going to work well either. 2) the knights minions do have some quirks that be exploited like running to a vault window but skipping it and turning, the minion will slow down a bit, pallets also slow them down a bit, and the flag can stop the chase and give you endurance if u manage to grab it after it fully charges, the rogue with the dagger is the only one that runs faster and is hardest to escape from but doesnt last long. Grabbing a survivor off a hook also grts rid of the minion chasing you. And you can go to youtube and type in "how to counter ____ in dbd" and you will get videos showing you how to loop and counter certain killers 3) survivors have a way of abusing perks in groups and everytime they add something a little strong, every survivor in the game ends up bringing it forcing it to get nerfed after a time. For example made for this allowed to run slightlt faster while injured. Everrrryone had it on. Then there was buckle up +for the people combo that let survivors instantly pick eachother up giving both endurance for 10 seconds, even if the killer just knocked them down after a long chase. 4) as far as the tutorial goes, the only thing that will remain constant after hundreds of changes, is the objective of the game. Everything outside of that is entirely based on player behaviours since its an online only game. Best way to learn is experience and videos of other peoples experience. 5) the lobbies are alredy somewhat ranked. But trying to seperate ranked players who are playing to win and casual players who are trying to have fun is prettymuch impossible as the ones trying to win love playing against the ones trying to habe fun because its an easy win. 6) there are about 1001 reasons to not add voice chat in dbd besides discord. Some of them include the fact that dbd has one of the most toxic communities in gaming making 5% of the voice chat usefull and the other 95% for argueing, harassment, bullying, and straight up annoying people or making them uncofortable with playing. Like for example sitting on a generator with a nancy and then some 9 year old kid starts swearing his head off at you because you missed a skill check, or people blaring music for the whole 15 minute round, or peoples kids crying in the background, or people taunting and bickering at eachother everytime they reach a pallet or something. 95% of it will be negative with random people, its only good for people you know and want to talk to in game. And it could also get awkward when some people have mic and others dont. And one of the most casual parts of dbd is the fact that your team mates are just the characters they are playing, you know nothing more about them. But now you will know all the sables are 40 year old men lol
