End game bloodpoints feels not rewarding

Since we don't get 100% bonus on any role anymore, it feels like game is not rewarding enough anymore. And i believe devs need to find some solution for this:

+Make 100% bonus all time for both roles and add additional bonus to whatever role needs more players.

+Make Escape Cake & Survivor Puding offerings brown.

+Bring back old WGLF & BBQ

I don't think more bloodpoints will hurt BP economy because most players are trying to p100 multiple characters, this is long journey. Plus we are still getting new characters every 3 months.

    As someone that has been playing for a long time, I can say it's quicker and easier to earn and spend BP than before but you are absolutely right, even more BP as a baseline is required just for the sheer amount of content now - new players have wayyy too much of a grind to be able to even start to play around with different perk builds

    I think the BP rewards for Survivors could especially do with an overhaul. Take this match I played the other day:

    I still got decent BP from the match because I brought mistle toes and someone also brought streamers. Even so, look at the Survival category! I played quite well by my standards, nearly maxing out the Boldness category but I didn't Survive so…

    Tbf while i think allot of improvements need to be done with the current system. i also played in the old system where P3 was the highest you could get and all your addons and perks where gone.

    But i sometimes wonder how people play this game or how they start playing games in general. If you do even 10 min of research you know what perks to go for and 99% of perks are not what you need to start playing. Deja'vu, kindred, sprint burst and quick and quiet. You level Meg up and you are ready to go. Is it the best build no but you can start. After 10 - 20 hours of playing you should have a few prestige 1 chars to switch some perks around.

    I don't mean this in a bad way or to hurt you but i wonder how long you have been playing?

    The anniversary takes 3 weeks if you even play like 1 - 2 hours a day with the anniversary you should have enough cakes to bypass almost a whole year into the nextanniversary event not counting escape cake/surv pudding/party streamers. Almost every month they have an event, almost every month is a x2 week. If you get rank 1 surv and killer you get 2mil bp every 13th . Every tuesday you get atleast 250k bp for free… We have login bonuses from time to time.

  • mistletoes are bugged and not even working for me… I literally gain nothing from event scoring at the end game match… I'll get like 25K in game and it translates to like 34K outside in the lobby… makes absolutely zero sense…cheapest event I've ever seen… the fact that those things are personal and don't stack also makes it feel like it's not even worth playing the event.

    I agree with everyone here its just literally annoying and do not get me started about survivors items in general needing changes or improvements like how killer add ons are always being updated or changed. Like green key for example?

    Almost 5k hours. If i count my console play time, total time is around 7k hours.

    So now will you stop act like i am noobie or actually talk about my suggestion. Because even if i was new player, non of your suggestions would help me.

    The grind as Survivor is ridiculous with how little BP's you get for doing Generators. You're better off doing Totems and chests first.

    I would like an exclusive BP Perk that is generic and available in the Bloodwebs of all Killers and all Survivors:

    Bloodpoint Hunter

    Gain 50/75/100% Bloodpoints in all categories.

    Not only would this reduce the grind, it would

    • Give BHVR data on how many players really want the extra BP at the cost of a perk slot.
    • Make some games less sweaty since potentially all 5 players could be using it, replacing a stronger perk.

    They should also increase the score events in all categories and escaped Survivors should receive the full 10,000 BP's and Killer as well for 4K.

    It's crazy how I can 12 hook a lobby and not get max Sacrifice points.

    As Killer, you can literally earn more by ignoring your main objective and maxing out Hunter and Deviousness with a little Brutality on the side.

    Yeah BP earnings per match are pathetic considering how many characters and how long it takes to get every prestige level.

    I miss both BBQ and WGLF as firstly BBQ encouraged splitting hooks and revealing auras across the map encourages leaving hooks, which a lot of killers seem allergic to these days.

    Secondly, WGLF felt like a secondary objective for me and I always made sure I had my 4 stacks before I died or escaped. It was my most used perk until they killed it, same with BBQ.

    At this point, I think they should change the prestige rewards by just pushing them 2 prestiges earlier. They could get rid of perk tiers already. Give the Tier 3 perks at P1 instead of P3, bloody cosmetics from P2 to P4, charms from P5 to P7. At least if they're going to keep adding characters. Might incentivize people to play both sides too if they reduce the grind to get decent perks.

    I feel this one, why are almost all survival points tied to escaping? I've always thought that giving 1000, or maybe even 1200 survival points to all survivors alive in the trial whenever any generator is completed, and then 2000 points for actually escaping would make way more sense and punish you way less for dying in the endgame or later in the game.

    Maybe that's also why some newer players hide for hatch too? 7000 survival points + 2500 objective points if you get hatch compared to nothing if you get killed. Seems pretty tempting when there's only 2 players left. Hatch is a consolation prize, and should be 2000 survival points and nothing else, the rest has to be earned by doing gens. Maybe even 1000, to incentivize people to just try and complete gens even when the game is lost.

    Prove Thyself was the best to max out your objective category every match, 100% Bonus Bloodpoints for co-op actions.

    I'm still using Beast of Prey on my Killers - it's the final perk with a BP incentive. I will run it until it is removed. I really just want a perk just for BP, no additional effects.

    I should run Prove again I guess, it is just that it goes against my belief that you should split pressure all over the map so the killer cant interrupt multiple survivors at the same gen. I just want a good BP perk for both sides and I don't see that the changes to BBQ or WGLF were done in our best interest in any way

    Prove is still a good perk. I always have better overall results working with others in generators in my SoloQ games. It seems even if I don't escape, we at least get some generators completed.

    That is fair enough, there are some times where you really want to power out that mid gen etc and it can be great then.

    It just doesn't synergise with my personal play style

    I'm currently getting 200% survivor in event mode. Maybe they're looking into it. Up until now it's been like 25-50%

    Incentives are there to incentivize you to play the role with fewer players to balance queues.

    If you have a low incentive, that's good. It means the queues are balanced so match quality should be better.

    I agree the BP gain for Survs should be higher basekit but NOT because nobody wants to play Surv so the incentive is really high.

    BP Gain in this game overall makes no sense. You can lose and still pip, which is good. You can win and not pip because you did your objective too fast. You can miss out on some BP based on the Killer you're playing as or your playstyle, and still get next to nothing. If someone bleeds out that is sacrifice points the Killer doesn't get, even if they weren't intending to slug and just couldn't find you.

    We shouldn't have to be incentivized to play.

    I never said you are a noob? I just wonder how you still need more bloodpoints? i have 3k hours while you have 7k hours and you say the game is not rewarding anymore and i really wonder why? All my chars are basicly P3 with half your playtime i have my favorite surv p100 now i am working towards getting my fav killer to p100. When a new DLC drops you can buy them and the same day they are both P3 thats how fast it goes now…

    The reason why the game is not rewarding for you (and dont get me wrong here) i think you are just burned out of the game. 7000 hours is allot of investment into 1 game.
