South African servers
Could South Africa get servers soon please? There is an amazon data center here and plenty of South Africans play DBD it would stop us having to connect to EU. It'd be really awesome thank you

Theres one Amazon GameLift Location in Cape Town, South Africa and Lagos, Nigeria. Both would reduce the ping for people living on the African continent.
No idea why they are not used because Dead by Daylight use Amazon GameLift Servers everywhere else. (Source)

Im not sure either the demand here is definitely high other games like Deadlock and TF2 even have South African servers I think people under estimate just how much people play games in South Africa we're not in an active warzone or a jungle or something

Behaviour really needs to step up their game with dedicated servers in general. There are several regions highly deserving of their own servers that either don't currently have them or had them shut down at some point, and even in many areas that do have dedicated servers, matchmaking will still place people on separate servers they have 100-200+ ping to just because they don't seem to want to spend the money to support their playerbase with enough server capacity and coverage.

As for regions that need their own servers but don't have them to my understanding, I'm aware of south africa and the middle east, but there are probably many more given the current state of BHVR servers. For regions that seem to be facing issues with server capacity, I've lived in several major areas of the united states where matches during busy hours will regularly be sent off to distant servers where everyone has several hundred ping, seemingly because the US servers don't have enough capacity to support the playerbase. No doubt this is also harming the experience of people in the servers being used for overflow.
