Spirit should get a little QoL tweak for her power

Spirit is one of my mains, I play her alot, and can say that I have a good understanding of her power. Therefore, in my opinion, she needs a slightly buff to her cooldown: The Rusty Flute Addon is such a neccessary Addon on her because without it, her cooldown feels so awful, especially when she has to use her power for chase and map mobility. When I watch really strong and good Spirit mains like Rayoxium or LittleSpaceRock all of these Spirit players always run Rusty Flute because this makes Spirit so much smoother and better to play. There was also the Hens' showcase of Spirit vs Dracula which showed how bad Spirit feels without the Rusty Flute Addon.

Spirit really relies on this Addon for a reliable access to her power. Therefore, Rusty Flute should become at least half basekit (20% basekit and nerf the Addon to 20%) because this alone will make her basekit more reliable and you no longer need to use this Addon. This change won't make her too strong or anything like this because it does not change the usual counterplay or will make her too oppressive.

Better change would be to make her cooldown take 10 seconds to recharge by default ( if fully used up and obviously less than that if less of it is used ) and if a Spirit player runs a duration add-on, it goes back to 15 seconds and not any longer. And rework ALL recharge add-ons except for Teacup and maybe Uchiwa.

What they did to duration add-ons was really really awful as there was a better way of going about adjusting them.

( making ALL duration add-ons cap at 15s if the power bar is fully used up and making them NOT increase the power recovery speed when the power isn’t fully used up )

This would make duration add-ons viable while also making sure the recharge time is exactly like the recharge time without the duration add-ons ( hope this makes sense as to what i’m trying to say )

That sounds very cool and would make her addons more viable. Locking the recharge addons behind fully using the power would be a great change to avoid a too short cooldown but to enable a better map mobility and more use of duration addons. 10 seconds would be fine and we could other addons than recharge.

I also feel like she needs in general a small addon pass because some of them are either useless or unhealthy in some way and there are options to make her addons more interesting. Her addon dework was a bit rushed and harsh. F

IMO duration add-ons shouldn't mean longer recharge time.

Just normal recharge speed, and Yamaoka amulet should be : + 50% duration (instead of +70%) and -10% MS (instead of -15%).

I wouldn't go below 13 secs of recharge time basekit, Spirit 1 vs 1 is oppressive enough.

would the Amulet be 2.5s or less than that? I feel like the speed debuff should be completely removed from it tbh , as the cooldown alone is a major downside.

my thoughts on spirit is that in the past. spirit's power was so potent that many player felt she was oppressive with no feedback on her audio location. her power was nerfed so significantly that MDR+DCB is most consistent way to get hits with her active ability but cooldown she occurs is very high to keep her in check.

My problem is that she has too terrible of a withdrawal when her power is on cooldown. So in my opinion, i would not touch her cooldown. Instead i would make her stronger when she is ON cooldown. I would buff her invisibility flicker mechanic to allow her spirit player to see the invisibility window similar to sadako. I would also increase her invisibility window to 1.5 second and grant her a 5% haste bonus when in invisibility form. this would make her better when her power is on cooldown but would not touch her balance of her active ability.

Her 4.4 m/s is too much of downside in my opinion and makes killer a little bit unfun to play despite being strong.

If they are gonna buff her then directional sound should be clearer so survivors have a chance for some counterplay

My point is to make the amulet and talisman cooldown "neutral" and reduce slightly the movement speed debuff.

No lets not give no buff to spirit, she already have no counter play even if you use iron will and its not everyone wants to play games with a headset.

The fact they went back on their word when they say that along with phase sound she should have kick up dust to get a sense of where she was approaching was not done is meh. Give me nurse or blight over spirit.
