Nerf Blindness status effect
I believe that Blindness effect should be nerfed to prevent situations like this. It's for 100% shouldn't work for people who are left on the ground.

Blindness, serves to do nothing against SWFs but everything against SoloQ. SWFs can just call out their positions to other players; SoloQ cant, they are forced to walk around with no information and (often) suffers a lot against it. To put it bluntly, Blindness is outdated, and should be tweaked.
I like the idea of it being anti-aura reading, it prevents Survivors from using perks to see the Killer's location, but in the same regard, the inability to see teammates makes it insanely strong against SoloQ. I think it should keep the anti-aura reading effect on the Killer, lose the anti-aura reading on teammates, but get a massive buff in duration or utility effect to compensate.

the thing is, they're using blindness as means to increase frequency of bleed out. Knock out is a perk that its entire design is to increase length that you are on the floor and that you are more likely to bleed out. the means that they're using to make bleed out occur is weird.

If it were changed to not block auras of slugs and received some other buff in return I'd be cool with that. It's not really a very strong status effect in most situations but when used in this particular manner it can be annoying to play against.

I'm pretty sure it would be fine without buff, blindness status effect blocks so many popular perks of survivors already: windows of opportunity, bond, kindred, deja vu etc. not mentioning common auras in game like noed / plaything totem aura or hooked survivors. When I play as Onryó, addon that gives survivors blindness is one of my favorite.

Blindness does nothing against SWFs and even Solo Q can deal with it, given they know how.
Knockout (the perk that was likely used in these matches) is in dire need of a rework, true. But Blindness as a status effect is fine as is.

That sounds more like a you problem, tbh.
Blindness is one of the weakest status effects in the game. Only things like Deafened do even less.

Instead of nerfing the Blindness Status Effect, they should rework it, it's not really that good against SWF, but very strong against SoloQ which is just bad design.
What they could do is:
- Blindness no longer affects the default Auras
By that I mean a Survivor on a hook, a downed Survivor, basically all the Auras that you can see by default without any Perks.
- They should rework the Aura colors to better tell which can be disables and which cannot
For example, maybe all non-removable Auras could be colored in white, like the Killer powers are (which by default cannot be disabled by Blindness), so Survivors on a hook would be outlines in white, downed Survivors would be outlined in white, etc…
But if this was the case the Status Effect should be buffed aswell maybe, since it would only work against Auras caused by Perks.

A fun build with her I use, is mindbreaker, hex 3rd seal, knockout, scourge hook (They die 20% faster)
I don’t use knockout as a slug all method but as a if I can’t pick up in that moment. Yoichi fishing net and sea soaked cloth. (You can swap knockout for surge if you want)
It makes intel really hard for the enemy team.

As a killer main blindness can impact swfs my friend, respectfully. Sure it’s not as impactful as soloq that’s for sure, but I run a pretty nasty blindness build with sadako and I find swfs often times trying to run to loops that they normally would but find out it’s not there due to the RNG of that map.
I love seeing the panic when their little windows of opportunity isn’t working 😈😂
