Another request to please do something about Knock Out perk
I’m getting more and more matches of killers bringing this perk into the match just to grief people with it. It needs a rework badly. All killers are doing now is bringing knockout and deerstalker to slug all 4 people repeatedly to force bleed outs. Not even attempting to hook. One killer had a 3 man slug at 5 gens and the 4th person was injured. We kept trying to scatter and crawl different directions so the last person could pick someone up and killer kept proxy camping us with deerstalker. As soon as there was a pick up he was on that person to slug again. Last person escapes and hides trying to get to pick ups but with knock out they can’t find us. We have to crawl to them, which is why deerstalker was in play to make us bring them to the 4th person. One person had Unbreakable and was able to pick themselves up but because killer was camping the slugged bodies they just downed that person again.
Again there was no attempt to hook anyone, this was literally just about getting a 4 man slug and making everyone bleed out which 3 of us eventually did and the 4th person got hatch. Also keep in mind this was a SWF match where we were all on coms and able to communicate, which is how the match lasted as long as it did. In solo Q this would have been a 5 minute match the way the killer was playing.
Point being, the only time I ever see this perk in a match is when killers are coming to play like this and it’s increasing in my matches. Just to grief and ruin the match for people rather than trying to progress it or using slugging for pressure. That was not it here.
Please rework this perk to at least get rid of the blindness after the debuff wears off of the slugged person, or at least massively extend the aura radius so people can be found on the ground easier. This perk is only being used to be abusive and grief people instead of being used as part of a tactical strategy.

The tactical strategy is to not activate any off-the-hook perks (which are so strong they can carry survivors through a match) and cook as much pressure as possible for as long as possible until your health bar is gone.
Hooking has become too punishing with the benefits and opportunities it provides to survivors. If all factors are considered, there is no logical reason for killers to play for hooks at the moment. This is a natural adaptation mostly in response to too much 'endurance' being added to the game.
Beating you is not "griefing" and using a perk wisely is not "abuse."
If killers are expected to play for hooks, then the process of hooking cannot be rife with detriment and more beneficial to the survivors than the killer in the long run.

Yes id love to see that perk dealt with. Guy above says its too hard to hook people. Literaly knockout prevents anyone from seeing where they went down so they cant go mess with you while u try to get ur hook. But instead thinks of "winning" as bypassing the entire game for minimal points because bleedout exists. It makes me sick that people have just stopped caring about other players, survivors included. I once had a dredge chase me at the start of the round and finally get me down after 2 gens, meg comes and breaks the hook i wiggle free. Chases me for another generator, gets me down, meg flashlight blinds him i wiggle free. So i ran straight to a hook and turned to look at him like "here you go. Take it." And he nodded im approval and the meg was just dumbstruck. Anyway, this perk does get abused for the wrong reasons and could really use a change.

This is just coping. If you need to rely on this as a means to win, you are out of your skillset. take the L and drop MMR. the survivor hook perks are NOT that strong and the most used ones deactivate if they do anything to progress the game. The killer hook perks are much more influential in the game than the survivor perks.
as killer the only time i slug and ever felt i needed to slug is if i down a survivor under a pallet and there is another survivor very clearly right there goin for the save. I have not had a survivor bleed out or even reach 3/4 bleed out in years of playing and i started in 2017. It is not necessary and it is a horrible way to play that is simultaneously breeding toxicity and worsening the "us vs them" mentality.
Not to mention it goes against the lore of the game as you're supposed to sacrifice the survivors to the entity no tleave em on the ground.
Bottom line. The mass slugging "tactical" argument is a consequence of being out of your skill set. It isnt necessary and does nothing but make the majority player base want to not play. which in a soley pvp game…ya kinda need the other 4/5 of the community to not quit in mass.

The aura block either needs to be time limited or be removed entirely. Or just rework it.

I don't want to hear any whining about toxicity when I've run into multiple SWFs recently that just hide in the basement on badham with 2x Unbreakable boons, Boil Over and Flip Flop and just try to run the game out as long as possible.
Your entire post can basically be summed up as "bE cReAtIvE kIlLeRs"

Yeah I just went against, Knockout, Deerstalker, Hex:Thirdseal and Hex:Undying.
Its catches SoloQ so hard off-guard.

It’s not a fun perk for survivors sure - but more and more matches against it? This sounds false.

so because you experience one problematic motive of gameplay…means we cannot address other issues as well? There are posts about those behaviors. Ive made some myself as I was having alot of matches on crotus prenn where theyd were abusing the second floor.
The difference is….that is incredibly rare. slugging isnt. And yeah surviviors doing that is horrible and exploitative…and needs to be adressed too but that is a different topic and a different post.
see the thing is, we can be like "hey slugging is a problem and ruins fun. change it!" and we can also admit "hey these exploitative behaviors for survivors ruin the fun and should be changed". thats the magic of not having an us vs them mentality. we want the game to be fun for everyone.
slugging is extremely common right now.

I see posturing and an attempted reframe, but no argument.

That's a completely different situation.
First thing you should do is break all the walls, second thing is snuff the totems. And if they continue trying to be a bunch of goobers trying to make it impossible to hook by camping the basement, you're 100% justified in slugging them out.
It's totally different when survivors are just trying to play the game normally, and the killer's first priority is slugging people and camping their bodies.
