Thoughts on buffed Myers after many hours of play
Getting out of tier 1 and not running out of tier 3 was very nice buffs but not to much different to how myers plays. The stalking from afar definitely helps get to tier 3 faster but tier 3 is still the same. I think he needs a faster breaking pallet speed when in tier 3 like how he has vaulting. Giving myers faster breaking speed can at least give myers some sort of chase power. The pre dropping gets so tedious and holding w is annoying. I play on controller so I hold joystick and my thumb starts to hurt from how much I have to hold it down when playing myers. Overall the buffs made playing pre buff myers better but didn’t make myers any stronger since being in tier 3 then and now is the same just more times so you can be more risky or careless with stalk. Hope the gets some more buffs

Honestly yeah the tweaks were good at making him a bit smoother to play, but he still has no real chase tools. It often just feels like you are following survivors around for them to drop pallets instead of chasing them.
I imagine he is pretty good for beginners but he's not very engaging for me who has thousands of hours.
Also the frustrations with tombstone add-ons were not really addressed at all. The ultra rares probably take too long now, and tombstone piece seems to be better than before because it requires proportionately less evil.
Overall… hopefully the rumours about him getting a rework further down the line are true. Well, i dont think he needs a complete overhaul or anything but he needs additional tools i think0 -
Where did you hear about this rumor. I’m watching a tatariu video and he said that he heard a rumour about myers too. But I never heard of any. Also I hope if they do rework him that they make tier 1 accessible again and better. For it can be a deliberate choice in being in tier 1 for that undetectable.

i haven't seen anything suggest that he is getting a rework. if anything, these changes…. are the rework. my problem with myer's especially in regard to his m1 gameplay is that he doesn't get enough chase capacity in tier 3 to be effective killer. his tombstone pieces make his tiering system rewarding but in practice, the killer should have be playable as m1 killer without needing mori's to gain reward from the power.

I really hope this is part of BHVR new philosophy of temporary solutions while we wait for a rework. They done it with skully, perhaps chucky and now this.

Since the rework I hated the close range change to stalk, but since they buffed it slightly it does make a big difference. Double iri combo doesn't work but tombstone piece works way better, I can still have tinkerer and sneak up on people by a gen to Mori them. Loops are the main issue with Myers, but with pwyf and possibly brutal strength Myers can power through.

Myers should be a killing machine in tier 3. He should get more tenacity, faster pallet break speed, faster vault speed, larger lunge. Singularity has all that on a killer that can teleport its kinda sad that the original murder machine sucks at it.

He's way better and a lot less clunky.
That one cursed achievement needs a tweak now as it's nearly impossible to do and scratched mirror - is it just me or is he slower now?

spookyloopz and hens saying means nothing. only official BVHR matters if a character is changing. Freddy is only character in roadmap. he is next scheduled update. apparently skull merchant is suppose to be reworked but when asked on pod stream when this was, the answer was that it will not come before May. SM is June, July, August,October, November, next year. somewhere there.
i would say tier 3 myer's need some of the following:
- Longer lunge
- Faster pallet break
- Haste
He needs some of those in his kit. It could 1 of those things or a little bit of all of them.
