Invocations are really punishing and bad but they dont have to be
Few people know that if you had DBD in Italian the Sable PTB, due to a translation error, the original Weaving Spiders perk description made you permanently exposed instead of broken.
Looking at the current state of invocation perks, I believe they should be changed as stated during the PTB. As of now, they are too punishing, and current version of the perk does not justify the price you pay.
The same goes for Treacherous Crows; it should be changed work even while you or a teammate scare a crow during a chase, and the aura reading duration should be increased.
Additionally, there no reason for invocations to be performed separately, unlike with boons, as performing an invocation will alert the killer with a loud sound, inevitably making them go into the basement to check for you.
I really do love invocation perks as a concept, but their current state makes me not want to use them, even though I enjoy the thrill of a high price and big reward.

Okay what the hell did I just see?
Also - the major issue is that crows is really, really weak.

I mean, both invocations are really, really weak. But BHVR has painted themselves into a corner because when they botched Weaving Spiders they figured 'Why not make sure that all future Invocation perks suck too?' and cemented things with the release of Treacherous Crows.
60 seconds in the basement + Permabroken is such a massive debt of power that the effect that rolls out of it needs to be scaled to match, and there's nothing you're gonna be able to put on the table that would actually work that way without royally frustrating killer players. So the benefit has to be scaled down to not be oppressive, but that in turn means that the investment cost is extremely excessive in comparison.
And so the entire concept hits the trash bin.
Until BHVR learns to fix mistakes instead of doubling down on them, this perk type exists purely to appease killers.

Remove the perma broken, it doesn't need to be there a health state is enough. Like it's actually really really terrible how much of a downside this perk has, it takes essentially a generator in basement to get any value.
