Give luck addons a use!

I think luck addons need to be given a better use. what if they made it easier to self unhook but we got rid of unhook tries basekit? would that work?

or what if the luck addons made it so you could find rarer items in chests without a perk for it? they just buffed chest unlock so why not make luck addons help with chests too?

The entire survivor items needs tweaking cept tool boxes, killer add ons are constantly being updated, rework or tweaked but survivor items remains stale and outdated.

I feel like we could remove the personal ones at the very least.

If you even bother to bring one, why only bring it for yourself when you can give everyone a bonus?

no i rly think as a survivor main toolboxes could be tweaked and you shouldnt be able to stack them with perks that way. its too much gen speed. if killer perks for gens got fixed it should be same for survivor stuff thats only fair.

instead they should rly give toolboxes more charges.

That's actually a really good idea, what if we make it so Luck addons help the whole team only to do stuff like find rarer items in chests, like OP said? What if we have it occasionally make it so you find an addon attached to an item? What if it made it so you occasionally had an extra self-unhook attempt or made it MORE LIKELY you could actually self unhook, up to 50%? I'm not sure about making Luck items the only way to unhook yourself and then removing unhooking though. It would add value to these items that frankly have no use right now.

Even better - what if Luck Offerings ocasionally, for everyone Killer included in the trial, made it so random point events (hooking, gens, using powers, stunning, unlocks, saves, downs, hits, etc.) gave a double or triple score for that event? Luck could randomly give you 3000 points for a gen/hook, or double it for when you unlock or stun, something like that at random. And affect whomever at random as a "Luck Bonus"? Or what if it occasionally at the end of a trial, doubled your points in a random category that was not already maxed for every player? That would be a fun gamble!

There are so many things you could do with a Luck addon to make the players in the round feel LUCKY, why aren't they experimenting? Why only unhook attempt percentages? Why not add random small good things for having this offering in the Trials to make it feel a bit spicier and more random? Luck perks could do something similar too. Give Ace's perks a use!

They need to add luck to effect more stuff. Its odd that a game mechanic is only effecting unhooking chance. Few of my ideas for it to effect.

    1. Better chances to get better items from chests or sometimes getting add-on on the item but luck would only give you one of these two options.
    2. Randomly having heal fail, gen fail, fast vault or fast locker entry not make sound
    3. Score events giving randomly more points
    4. Crows not getting alerted when you run past
    5. Escape attempt on the hook does not make you lose anything of trying

These of course would be rare to see but I would not see any of these being game breaking or easily abusable.
