Russians in european servers: Why?
I have no clue why russians are playing in Europe. They are from Asia and everytime i play vs them the match is awful. connection problems and dog playstyle. What is the meaning of me gettin matched with them? Put them in Asia as they are meant to

there are two (2) servers in the European region (the last time they updated their list of servers, anyway): London and Frankfurt.
there is one (1) server in the Asia region (the last time they updated their list of servers, anyway): Japan (specifically, Tokyo iirc).
I've helpfully supplied the map, but as you can see, Russia is a relatively large country and around half of it is closer to Frankfurt than Tokyo.

Trust me I'm sure they'd love to have more local servers as well, but kinda hard to do when Amazon doesn't have any infrastructure like that in the entire very large country that Russia is iirc.
And why they're in European servers in particular, look up a population density map of Russia. You'll see that a lot of the country's population would make absolutely no sense to put on asian servers.

amazon gamelift supports hosting on own hardware as well. so BHVR could use own servers in russia.

Russians under sanctions. We have no chance in many areas in the coming years. Basically, you are playing with players who managed to buy the game before the release of Sadako. The game is currently not sold in Russia.
