The Myers issue

Yes, we got a Myers update recently that made him somewhat more efficient, especially when stalking from afar. They also gave us the possibility to milk the survivors even more for that succulent evil within tier III we all want. And we got a buff to Tier I while not getting scratch mirror changed, which seems like a win.

Despite all this, there is still one issue, perhaps the biggest issue, with Myers. Despite all, its power is still limited. Once all alive survivors have a red outline, that's it. This kinda makes Myers the only killer whose power does run out, and is something extremely outdated when compared with the other killers, all with powers that do not end. Why not give Myers unlimited power? Ghostface works in a similar fashion, he even gets the ability to expose survivors without any limit, everytime he can and wants. But Myers…is limited. Not as heavily as before, but still limited.

So, the changes were on point, a step in the right direction. But the main issue still persists.

    I played almost nothing except myers for like a month after the buff and I never ran out of stalk. I ran out of stalk before the buffs but right know the amount of stalk points survivors have and the stalking from far away buffs make playing him way better. My problem is that they didn’t do anything to make him stronger during tier 3. I hope they come back to him somewhere this year. Maybe add regenerating stalk points or something

    i have same issue with tier 3 regular myer's. he struggles at pallet loops and pre-running.

    While technically right he can run out, you and the Survivors both would have to be inefficient at your goals and drag the game out to accomplish that.

    I agree on both counts. Just giving tier 3 a little inbuilt pallet kick speed would make a noticeable difference for him, I think. As for stalking regen, I'd suggest making it so that survivors regen on a curve where the longer you go without stalking one, the quicker they regen. That would play nicely with the pacing of his matches and make spreading hook states slightly more reliable for him.

    Give him a 15% pallet break reduction for Tier III, an button activation of tiering up, and an add-on pass.

    With the latest update, if you manage to run out of stalk and are still losing then that's a skill issue. No offense. I have played him constantly since his buffs and have never once come close to running out of stalk.

    I agree that they should add something extra to tier 3. Preferably faster pallet breaking to go with the mega lunge and fast vault speed.

    I don't think the sentiment is that having a hard stalk cap makes him specifically underpowered, it's more that it's an unnecessary limitation to a killer that already doesn't bring a lot to the table compared to most other more modern killers. All it stands to do is introduce edge case situations that disadvantage him when they do come up (survivors with remaining stalk hiding to stall out chases against survivors with no stalk left in the late game) without adding much to gameplay on either side, since survivors can only guess at how much stalk they have left.

    As others have said, his issue to my mind isn't haven't enough stalk anymore, unless the survivors have literally been picking their noses, the game is long over before you run out of stalk.

    If he has any issue, it's that he is ultimately still a very basic m1 killer, which means he'll never be strong without being made ridiculous (which is basically what his Tombstone's do). His vault and lunge are slightly better, but that's it… he has no other anti-loop to speak of.

    That said, his power is simple and has high perk synergy. Things like Coup, vault speed/block builds, PWYF, Spirit Fury/Brutal Strength, M&A or various undetectable perks, Surge, all work well on him, more so than other m1 killers… The difficulty is a lot of changes one would propose to make him good at high level, would make him absurdly overtuned at low level…. which is a problem of a lot of killers. The difference of high level and low level killers is the skill their power requires to land hits, and without appropriate skill expression built into the design of the power, there is only so far you can push a killers ability if you want to allow any counterplay at all.

    More I cant be satisfied with what I have yet survivors need to get good they say lol. I barely if ever seen anyone complain about myers since his update, sounds like a you issue if you ask me, my friend who mains him been winning tons of his matches compared to before.

    It's not that I loose. It is an unnecessary limitation to his kit that can be exploited circumstancially. He is not the strongest killer, and that cap doesn't help.

    Exactly what I mean. It is not common yet it can happen. Depends on survivor guessing skills or poor stalk management from the Myers. But it can happen.
