Freddy will be hated after the rework.
Alright, I like the changes in theory as Freddy is in my top 33% of killers to play as, but looking at the changes I can't help but see a lot of things this community is known for hating.
Honestly, reading the patch notes reminds me of common complaints about Skull Merchant and release Freddy. People will hate this. He is going to be a pup stomper. Like even currently, tons of Survivors don't know you can just wake up by failing a skill check. And now? I assumed the teleporting to healthy Survivors was to counteract people self caring to fail a skill check and wake up, but it will also punish Survivors who don't know that and just try to heal to regain a health state. Same for Dream Pallets injuring Survivors. Or the mysterious red spots along the ground.
His rework combines some of the generally most hated aspects of killer powers. Side Quests, Relying on your Soloqueue Teammates (for wake ups and knowing what pallets have been replaced with dream pallets), Strong and "mindless" Anti-Loop, Confusing Abilities, no terror radius (Survivors are Oblivious in the dream world). I don't think it will be Skull Merchant bad, but I wouldn't be suprised if this makes Freddy the second or third most hated killer in the game.

I agree, I think he is overbuffed, 2 powers? Is he Dracula or Lich? I don't understand the new trend with killers where they have hundreds of abilities👿

I definitely don't like the idea that he could teleport to Survivors who are healing. That just sounds like an invitation to tunnel the injured person to me, and/or start a slug party.

Freddy always had like 4 ablities, more then most killers lol. Nothing really changed

to be fair, this community will hate on anything new so this is inevitable.
‚Simple‘ and ‚completely unique‘ powers are very difficult to come up with in this Game, with very limiting Game mechanics and existing powers..
