Freddy Rework isn't a Rework
This "Rework" feels more like a Fix then a rework or at most a very soft rework being a former Original Freddy main that's what I'd call it.
I am glad that we can use both snares and dream pallets and even when Survivors are awake but with this rework putting emphasis on putting Survs in the Dreamworld the Dreamworld itself has no danger or urgency to want to cleanse it.
I would want it if your in the Dreamworld Freddy can just TP to you like Pinhead or Singularity can do instead of just when there just healing.
Ps why remove TP canceling that was an ok mind game?

Probably removed tp canceling because teleporting to heals is strong and it doesn't also need to combo with faking it constantly and perks / effects that benefit that like no quarter and hermorrhage

Most likely still gonna mess with the play style a bit though

freddy being able to freely tp to you would be ######### busted.
pinhead can only do it if you solve the box, and sigliaury can only do it sometimes3 -
Because it was never a rework to begin with, it was listed as an “update” on the roadmap.

to be fair they never actually put the word “rework” on their roadmaps. Last year In January, Billy and onryo were in the killer update section and Billy got a substantial rework introducing overdrive and onryos condemn got reworked for the 2nd time. Later on in April, the twins were under killer update and theirs was supposed to be a rework but got scrapped because it was game breakingly powerful. Every other killer that has gotten changes have been in the “killer tweaks.” Unless bhvr plans to physically put “killer rework” on the roadmaps, we should just assume that when a killer or perk is under the “update” section and not “tweaks” we should expect a rework or a drastic change in its functionality.

The balance would be it's only if your asleep and in the dream world again no different then pinhead and singularity so no it wouldn't

My opinion:
Faking Teleports should stay in terms of fakes to generators. However, in terms of teleports to healing people, we shouldnt be able to cancel it to not destroy the survivor-experience with Hemmorhage-Builds.0 -
I have a feeling that this will be a real hit or miss thing. It could either be really strong (and probably feel pretty bad for survivors with how fast they can be put to sleep) or it could end up extremely weak but feel a lot better for survivors.
TP cancelling will be necessary for healing teleports. Otherwise, you would simply fake tp whenever they heal, which would be a horrible thing to play against with Hemorrhage.
The term rework isn't really misplaced here either. They have changed a lot of Freddy's mechanics and the new dream pallets will work quite different from the old ones. I am a bit confused though about the part with the dream snares. It says that dream snares will move at 12 m/s. Does that mean Freddy will be able to place those from a distance?

It sounds like his snares will be a projectile similar to Artist crows rather than a trap anymore.

Fake pallets play completely differently, and snares are projectiles now. I think it's fair to call it a rework (even though the devs aren't even calling it that).

That could be quite interesting and it would add a little layer of mechanical skill on him. Although it would probably feel pretty bad for survivors. He will have quite a handful of ways to get survivors into the dream world after all.

I like the change of blood snares to a disabling wave rather than traps, feels on brand for him and much more useable.
Pallet explosions seems like a really niche ability that may end up being more trouble than it's work to land, though that's ultimately a hard call to make with such limited experience. I also just assume dream pallets stunning Freddy is a bug but if that's intentional then lmaoooo
Heal TP is fun but honestly I just don't think survivors will heal asleep after a couple weeks. It has a very cause and effect response that'll make matches sink or swim depending on whether people know counterplay.
Overall, Sharp Hand Joe has some new tricks, but he's still Sharp Hand Joe. At this point, I say that with as much love as I do bitterness.

Comp doesn't matter. If he starts annoying the casual base too much he will be nerfed again.

This feels like an update to the 2019 Freddy Rework.
This is not a rework.

They literally call it a rework in the patch notes. Which it is by the way. Well, the snare part of his power, at least.
