Freddys PTB Addons Ranking and suggestions
So far this is how ill rank his new addons. Most of them are really good and useful. Very nice to see a mixture of addons that do different things and ones that do # changes. I think that the Blue dress which is supposed to be current freddy needs to be buffed by letting you place more than 1 snare otherwise its a nerfed current freddy. I also think that unicorn block should be basekit and change the addon to make your rupture pallets into normal current dream pallets. I like the dream pallets we have so letting there be a choice to play them would be nice, better than it being a number change.

I mostly agree with your add-on placement. However, my take is:
- Make Unicorn Block and Wool Shirt base-kit.
- Combine add-ons that influence alarm clocks or wake-up action and buff them.
- Give the Blue Dress (8) old snares and (8) old pallets.
- Combine the Black Box' effect with Swing Chains.
- Give the Black Box these effects instead: decreases the Lullaby and terror radius by 16 meters, invisibility outside 8 meters, however no dream snares nor dream pallets (old Freddy)

I think the iri box needs a buff. considering once you down someone, they wake up and can go through the exit gate. maybe change it to where downed survivors stay asleep and only get woken up when hooked. however i do think if it was worked in this way this would encourage more slugging as he would get killer instinct each time someone goes to pick up a downed survivor. so maybe you dont get woken up if you're downed in the exit gate?

Yeah that is what I was thinking too. They gotta make it that you can’t wake up when downed at the exit gates with black box

I would like a dedicated dream pallet addon for I can use them with the new snares but blue dress needs a buff to feel like current freddy. Unicorn block and sheep block should become basekit. Change sheep block to become dream pallets like it is in current freddy and change sheep block to something else maybe something like OG freddy or pill bottle something with being invisible to awake survivors

Okay, I have a great compromise. I also will make another post if people like what we came up with.
- Sheepblock becomes base-kit, new effect: changes the snares to its previous version (8 traps)
- Woolshirt becomes base-kit, new effect: changes the pallets to its previous version (8 traps)
- Unicorn Block becomes base-kit, new effect: decreases your lullaby and terror radius and invisibility by 8 meters
- Black Box, new effect: decreases your lullaby and terror radius and invisibility by 24 meters, removes dream snares and pallets
sidenote: I hope we can have Freddy to be fully invisible to awake survivors in some way. If it is not possible, I hope my version can be implemented (add-ons)

Paint-thinner is god-tier if the survivors actually drop fake pallets. But with the new pallets, it seems they dont need to because they already know which ones are fake anyway… The old pallets they dropped because other survivors might have been tricked if they didnt, but now that every1 will know which are fake, paint-thinner (even if the effect is super good) sees little use. Especially after you teleport once, they wonnt do it again.
I think BHVR has to make dropping pallets a good counterplay to fake pallets a thing.

number 5 isnt exactly "old freddy", you have to be invissible outside of the dream period for that to be old-freddy.

I am aware. However, bringing Old Freddy back is difficult. I made another post about it on the forums on how I would implement Freddy 1.0 as an iridescent add-on. I would want to see Freddy be invisible to awake survivors in a way. If it is not possible, the closest way is to make Freddy invisible outside 8 meters.

Bro its not difficult, we just need BHVR to let us have multiple keybinds and controls. Like why are they obsessed about having only m2 and control as killer power alternatives? Freddy right now obviously has more than 2, so if they are gonna increase the complexity, they should start shifting gears towards a more versetile setup. Or just allow us to change the hotkeys seperately.
For instance, pull in dream (dream-transition) could be on keybind (T), switch between snears and pallets could be on control, using power on m2, dreamprojection could be on left alt or C or anything else. Its not that deep…
The way he would play out is: "he's insanely weak earlygame, can pull people into the dreamworld from a long range of 24 meters basekit", once in the dream they are now interactable but the nightmare has a long list of tools to terrorize the survivors within the dream. The only way to wake up is through the clocks or awake survivors but the wake up interaction takes significantly longer each time you do it.
The goal of this freddy is to make it into mid to lategame where getting out of the dream is almost impossible which leaves survivors feeling like they are trapped in a torture chamber forever. But getting to this point should have MASSIVE skill-expression that seperates good freddies from bad ones.
I think that having him unable to attack them while they are not asleep makes sense thematically and adds an interesting gameplay to him as well, this way they can use this weakness to power him up drastically within the dream-world. He should be a debuff monster where he constantly pulls people into the dream while playing mindgames on the survivors.
I had an idea that there should be blood-freddy images that jumpscare you when you're in the dream randomly and laugh in your face whenever you are in close proximity to freddy, this is just a effect that doesnt provide any advantages, but they could do something around it like allow him to teleport to the images with an ultra rare addon? Idk, just a thought.
