You Killed Freddy
He was a unique Killer, but ever since Vecna appeared seems like it's a fashion to add his ways into other Killers, Freddy is just now like the Artist, it's also confusing as hell. Stop using this new ability with V for every other killer it's no fun to play no more.

I wonder if the objective is to try and kill looping areas. There’s only so many ways you can do it.

Seems no, BHVR is whom you need for looping areas, map works etc not a killer.

"Killed"? Unique? Current Freddy is practically worthless.
His ability to switch between snares and pallets is more comparable to Clown than Vecna.10 -
It doesn't matter who he is compared to, he shouldn't be.

In any case most would agree Freddy was killed when he lost his slowdown add-ons and then they nerfed snares nearly 4 years ago. Hardly any point of playing him right now anyway so i dont see how can be killed and i think his rework is pretty good anyway. I also think relatively it's not that hard to understand5 -

What I was saying is that behavior, for whatever reason, got rid of a lot of windows and created a lot of dead zones. After doing this, they immediately started creating killers and powers that negated loops altogether. Having exploding pallets, and players complaining about how they want bigger hit boxes for those explosions, this is what I was referring to.

New Freddy is not strong, but more fun than he was before.
We will see what will happen before he hits Live-Servers. I am very sure BHVR will adress some issues we figured out and gave a ton of Feedback.3 -

He got creatively butchered with his first rework.

I'd argue that the new Freddy is more unique than the live version. There is no other killer that can temper with pallets like he can even if it's way undertuned and the ability to teleport to healing survivors is quite unique as well.
There are also more killers that something up to deny loops than killers that fire a projectile through obstacles.
New Freddy definitely has issues but him not being unique isn't among them.
