Please either restore the rarity of map-ban offerings or implement a system where map-specific offerings are returned if a map-ban occurs. For killers, one of the key aspects of enjoyment is strategizing different perk combinations tailored not only to each killer but also to each map. Allowing map bans to easily negate this strategic element is not a healthy experience for the killer side.

The reduction in the rarity of map-ban offerings is undermining the enjoyment for killers who strategize around the synergy between their perk builds and specific maps.

Certain kinds of players care more about fairness than any other reason and of course BHVR got their arms twisted by the spoiled ones.

If you need map offerings to play good or to get good results, it's a you problem.

Map offerings should just get removed from the game or a rework so they can no longer give one side an unfair advantage.

I agree, I would prefer if Map Offerings were deleted. or changed into a new series of Offerings which would be better.

See what I mean OP. All the replies went off topic to push their own agenda. They don't care what you think.

While agree no map should give a strong advantage to either role, there are some killer builds that are absolutely map dependant. Perhaps those builds need looking at, as well as tweaking maps to be less one sided?

Sorry but no, map offerings are really frustrating to play against on both sides and making sacrificial wards a brown offering was one of the best things BHVR has ever done.

If anything map offerings should be completely removed from the game, they are far too much of an advantage.

cuz bully squads exist and like to bring maps for certain builds just to bully the killer into DCing and have a VERY unfun experience so brown sac wards are great, take the brown sac ward like a man and move on to the next game, id rather map offerings be deleted or reduced to nothin and shouldnt exist

It's not always about whether a map is normally one-sided or not though. Some maps certainly are, and that's a problem that needs addressing, but others only become one-sided if you plan out a specific build/strategy with an offering for that map and as long as map offerings exist there's not really anything else that can be done to change this even if every map was overall in a balanced state for your average match.

It's true that Scratched Mirror Myers is pretty much unplayable without a map offering and would probably have to change in some way if map offerings were removed, but I can't really think of anything else where it's a requirement. Pretty much any other stealth build for example certainly becomes better on indoor maps (or for example, the Coulrophobia/Distressing Wesker on two story indoor maps, or skill check doctor) but it's not an absolute necessity for them.
