will we get a dev update about the changes from ptb to live this week?

I doubt we'll see anything until the patch hits on Tuesday. They seem to do that stuff within the Patch Notes now.

There might be a possibility of being release on Friday. otherwise, seems about right.

I don’t remember them ever releasing a dev note, ptb or devolper update on Friday. It’s usually always Tuesday or Thursday, sometimes Wednesday.

I’d be really surprised if it releases tomorrow. But most likely will be Monday morning and then the update will drop Tuesday. I’m just wondering what’s up with the dev update/ptb scheduling recently. For a while they would always release a dev update the Thursday before a ptb or live release but ever since the haunted by daylight event the scheduling has been weird. No dev update for the balance changes that came with houndmaster ptb and then they dropped the post ptb dev update a day before the update went live. Same with the dev update before this Freddy rework but it makes sense since they were on holiday break.

the new tome releases on the 28th and last spring that made a change to make the tomes and rifts go live the same day as the update instead of a day after so im pretty sure the update will drop Tuesday the 28th

I think it happen once a few years ago. BHVR has been flip flopping it as of late so possibly Mondy. if not hten release day.

That's not what i mean i know the update is on jan 28th im talking about ptb to live changes and if there isnt a dev update they probably dont have a lot to talk about.

their update are mostly always released on the day of the release. sometimes it is 1 day before. i do not think much will change from PTB. My wish list for freddy is that he does not get punished for putting survivor in dying state where you magically wake up from dream world. Maybe they'll slightly improve him, maybe not.

They've never released a developer update the same day as the patch. Patch notes and developer update are different to be clear. In my years of playing never seen it 1 day before either, only 2/3 days before with the houndmaster release. They typically don't release anything on fridays or mondays and since the update is on a tuesday it seems unlikely there is going to be a dev update at this point.
