Remove penalty for abandoning the match and add penalties for giving up the hook

Remove the ban penalty when leaving the match. A bot sits there playing for you, sometimes even better than us, casual players. What is the point of a person who paid and left a robot playing being penalized and a person who dropped the hook at the beginning and left their team with 1 player less? I understand that before, when you abandoned the game, the player disappeared, so it made sense. But not anymore today.

It still makes sense, because the bot is just a bandaid and not a proper replacement for a thinking teammate. Plus that just encourages everyone to ditch at the slightest inconvenience, making it so people wouldn't get to play full games against real people.

Give penalty for both and create give up system for extreme scenerios (for both sides, where DC is valid).

Add penalty for giving up on hook, but keep DC penalty. Maybe even combine them as 1 give up penalty.

The reason bots for DCs were added was so teams weren't completely left behind of someone DCed. Not to give people the option to leave a match whenever they want.

that would turn the game into PvE in the long run, thats for sure.

If the penalty changes at all, it should be increased.

too hard to differentiate between a person that actually tries to unhook and fails the second phase skillchecks cause they suck at the game and someone who is giving up. someone with no hooks at 2 survivors left would get a penalty if tried to unhook as a last chance. and getting a penalty cannot be tied to luck mechanics either, everybody would start to bring luck offerings or slippery meat just to not get it, or simply go afk, which is worse cause the killer can use the afk to farm or get perk tokens.

people will still give up despite penalties, so i'd much rather get a bot and have no penalty for dc than people giving up on hook or going afk.
