Knock Out Rework
Knock out's usefulness makes no sense. The only thing knock out is good at is make the soloq experience even more miserable. That being said though, here's my suggestion:
Survivors in the dying state do not have their aura shown to others outside of 16m (REMOVED)
Survivors downed with your basic attack:
- recover 40% slower (was 25%)
- crawls 25% slower (was 50%)
When healing dying survivors, reduce healing speed by 30% (NEW)
This idea removes the component that punishes soloq and compensates by reducing time to heal someone off the ground, which imo is a better design
Nevertheless I don't like playing or versing the slugging playstyle regardless, but I think this addresses the soloq pain that it causes imo.

I would change knockout entirely. Make it like sloppy for blindness. Hitting a survivor with a basic attack makes them blind for 70 seconds. Buff third seal to work on any health state loss.

The healing part will make it actually stronger than it is lmao
Knock Out just need the aura to reveal to teammates after a few seconds, thats all

I dont think Knockout can be saved in anyway. They should just make it an entirely new thing which isnt about ppl in the dying state.

I agree, full rework. The moment current Knock Out is no longer useful as a solo stomper no one will run it, outside of Bubba adepts.

This really is the biggest problem with balance decisions. People at 1400 MMR get thrown into the same bracket as those with 2K+ and people wonder why the game is a mess.

If knockout wasn't useful you wouldn't be complaining about it.
The perk is doing exactly what it was designed to do. Make it harder for other survivors to find you. Not only this perk but there are many ways to inflict blindness on survivors. Once your upset cries for nerfs are answered killers will start using blind builds. Just like they started using slug builds by taking away slow down.

Knockout isnt that bad but it does need a timer tied to how long the aura can be blocked

I do partially agree. MMR plays a factor absolutely but where we might disagree is that I don’t believe it is the end all be all. Just like knockout itself isn’t the end all be all. It’s a combination of all those things.
Asking for reworking of perks isn’t new, no matter how old the perks themselves are. Adrenaline is a good example of that.

I don't really understand this argument, then people will whinge and cry about SWF. It's essentially a solo-queue curb stomper, yet does nothing for SWF. It just pushes people to go play SWF, but if that's the end-result of Knock Out being used -- killers have no right to complain when it's completely countered by a 3-4 man SWF.

If you want to take it in that direction. If killers believe most of their matches are against SWFs, then why do they bring a solo stomping perk? Be a waste of a perk slot if you ask me.
If this was really an issue and not the next forum complaint of the week, Empathy or Bond would show an uptick in usage to fully counter it. Maybe time to swap out WoO?

Because more people play solo-queue than they do full SWFs, it's that simple.

Rework Knock Out to not be used for slugging but instead in chase. Change it so it causes blindess and immediately put survivor into deep wound with mangled for a survivor injured with a basic attack in chase. Maybe also hindered if it still isn't useful enough. Survivor needs to be fully healed or downed for the effects to go away.
Also rework blindness to not include dying state/hooked survivors. That only hurts players in solo queue, a swf can say "I'm down/hooked over here."
