Perk Suggestion - Soul Bound
For some reason my post was deleted without reasoning…
Soul Bound would make it so where whatever Item this survivor has, whether it be from the start or the first item they pick up would be bound to them for the rest of the trial.
It would be a niche perk designed to counter both Franklin's and Weave Attunement but with considerable drawbacks. Mainly that after the item is depleted the survivor is stuck with it. While they could use Built to Last to replenish it, it would require and additional perk slot to occupy to support it with. It also could fall into situations where it could be absolutely useless, for example facing a Plague while starting the trial with a med-kit.
This perk would not prevent item loss upon dying.

the only thing i personally can think of as far as tweaks go in comparison to when i first made this post is that weave would still make you a walking beacon possibly, but for one who uses Object of Obsession that might be too powerful if you consider SWFs for info. The idea is simply there needs to be something survivors can take the risk of using against a few current powerful perks aimed at essentially trashing an item for free (emphasis on essentially, because not completely)

Ahh fair. But possibly altering weave so it WOULD do so regardless is still a possibility. My thoughts are to still add a balance to the idea other than outright "make this perk the best choice to have because nothing can go wrong."

Yeah, interestingly enough when I played with my friends with less than 1k hours — I'd see the perk. ☠️ I didn't even know it existed because I barely see it in my usual games (3k+ hours lol).
