I did not sign up to play 2v6, especially on 200 ping
The bots are useless, this video is just one of the examples of how bad they are. I have another clip of one bot just running to the corner of the map and hiding there for like a minute, after the bot heard the TR, but the killer didn't even come to them.
Making this mode 2v6 took all the fun out of the mode. You were not clear on the fact that the game will not match more than 6 survivors together by default.
Also the servers exploded from the amount of players. Me and my team of 3 people play in swf, we're in the same region and we get sent to the moon each match.

Killer queues are still upwards of 10 mins, almost been waiting 15 currently. Bots don't seem to have improved the times at all

Lol predictable. I look forward to the few killer mains still coping that "the bots are better than 90% of survivor players" when stuff like this will be happening nonstop for this event.
So far it seems like killer queues are still long so all they did was remove any fun from playing survivor in 2v8. I'll be playing killer or only playing survivor in a full 8 swf to get the challenges done.
Lots of players told them this wasn't the solution but here we are.

Conditions will likely improve during peak hours
Edit: I meant player count wise - as in, we're not going to see as many bots by then. The ping thing probably wont change0 -
If bhvr wants the conditions to improve, they should make the survivor gameplay more enticing, adding bots definitely doesn't do that, in fact, I'm probably gonna take a dbd break for the whole duration of this mode.

Ive played a few matches as killer and the bots just leave the survivors to die constantly, and crouch around the map…

Wow, so the mandatory bot system that we saw on the PTB, that the BHVR shills said we were overreacting to and wouldn't work the same way in 2v8 does, in fact, work the exact same way? Wonderful.

Not clear is an understatement. When people started to figure out that this might be the case, they essentially denied it by downplaying and suggesting it would be a rare occurrence that only "occasionally" happens when queues are slow. As if 2v8 queues have ever not been slow across the mode's entire existence.

Every match the bots just crouch around, ignore hooks and injured players. In all my matches the bots got the lowest number of points, even if they lived much longer than the real players.

Even if all 8 survivors were real people, the survivor gameplay feels the same… At least in 1v4 you can run various builds (thanks to perks), that add a lot of variety to playing survivor. In here, everything's the same as always, which makes the survivor gameplay just… okay. And now when on top of that you add bots, survivor gameplay becomes dry and empty…
A lot of the fun from 2v8 survivor came from friendly teabags and memeing with teammates, after a save, or a healing party. And you could also get the entire lobby to switch to claudettes or davids, etc. Now a lot of that is lost… I would love to enjoy playing survivor in 2v8, but sadly this is making me very unmotivated. :/

Yup good thing I am ignoring yet another 2v8 event. Literally everytime it has been the same which is why I am not even trying to search for killer matches.

IDK I feel like this system specifically punishes Solo queuers even more, its crazy that they thought this would be helpful.

SO I have found out even if people leave and the game doesnt find anyone it will still only fill to 6, so the bot system outright blocks more survivors from joining, even if people leave individually and finds them instantly

Waited 20 minutes to play my first game of the hyped 2v8 mode as Huntress.
Loaded into match to find 2 people replaced by bots, then after 7 minutes the match server crashed sending me back to title screen with no rewards. What an absolute mess.2
