Wesker 2v8: can't hook/drop survivor

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Wesker was stuck carrying a survivor indefinitely, even after end game collapse timer had elapsed completely. The game continued indefinitely. Pallet save stuns did not correct the issue, either.

    SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:

    This together with the iri addon bug makes wesker VERY inconsistent to go against atm and needs an immediate bugfix before 2v8.

    SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:

    Wesker is EXTREMELY BUGGY right now and is impossible to go against. I literally went against a wesker with 4 different bugs in ONE match. These buggs are VERY consistent and not just once in couple of games.

    Bug #1. Iri vial gives wesker a instant infectionrate at the start of the trial (this bug you've already seen about being complained.)

    Bug 2. If a survivor picks a spray up they're UNABLE to do ANY objectives. No healing, no cleansing totems, no repairing gen. Literally UNABLE TO PLAY.

    Bug #3 COMPLETED gens are exploding and regressing???

    Bug#4 Downing AND hooking survivor are completely silent and shows no aura reading on top of it.

    And a bonus bug that I had the other day and already reported about:

    Bug #5 Survivors gets stuck in obstacles like rocks and are unable to move for the remaining of the trial after getting dashed by wesker.

    There is just no way this can go live on 2v8, it's gonna be miserable to go against and already is awful to go against in 1v4. The amount of weskers I've had today combining all their bugs has been awful and needs attention ASAP.

    Just had another buggy wesker after doing this report. and AGAIN survivors are silent when getting m1 and dashed against wesker. Sometimes the aura of someone going down isn't showing either.

    The video is still processing on youtube so it may take some time.
    But this can only be fixed if the survivor wesker is carrying disconnects.
    No stuns or blinds break wesker out of this

    happened to a wesker i went against two games in a row. I dont have a match id or anything though

    Hi @ThatRyanB

    I just had this happen on PS5 to a Wesker I was going against. Both Killers had to quit because the BOT wouldn't even die after endgame. I recorded the end of my match as well as me spectating the BOT after escaping.

    I just had this happen in the 2v8, timer ran up at end game collapse & eventually I was dropped.

    Saw a Wesker who picked somebody up and no hook animation started.

    Ran around with the guy on the shoulder the whole match.

    Wesker player could not hook.

    The Whesky Daddy Shoulder bug is also back along with end game killers being stuck but only for a minute or two.

    Here's another example from my last game aswell, stuck the entire game on weskers back and being held hostage until both killers dc or the game never ends, not even until after EGC ends

    I can add another report to this as well - was a totally normal chase with David, wound up with him on my back the rest of the game. Screenshot is after EGC completed.

    Happening to me right now on Steam. Wesker hit me with his power and picked me up, he can't drop me and can only walk around while he carries me. I have crows like I'm idle but there's nothing I can do other than be carried by him.

    Bit of a peanut gallery post but I can confirm I've had this happen too as Wesker on RPD. Happened to a David I think. I hit him with a bound and he got stuck on my shoulder and even the EGC timer didn't kill him, resulting in a Good, Bad, And the Ugly standoff for who's going to DC first.

    Eventually David DC'd and I automatically hooked his bot form. Seems if it happens to a human player, the bug will resolve itself by the survivor DCing, but if it happens to a bot, you are quite literally trapped until the server shuts down or you DC as killer.

    EDIT: According to comments on a youtube video, this bug is apparently related to Wesker moving after putting someone on his shoulder. There's a small window where he can turn his camera or walk after the "picking up animation" and before the "hooking animation" and supposedly moving/turning during this window triggers the softlock.

    Another weskerbug in 2v8. wesker dashed whoever was unhooking me, so I got stuck outside of the cage and was unable to get unhooked or have the cage sent to other side of the map

    Just happened two matches in a row for my friend, We both are playing on Xbox. Sucks being accused of being cheaters for just trying to play the game.

    Just had this bug. I was enjoying the whole match from his shoulders. He also wasn’t able to down anyone, because he was so slow and didn’t have a lundge. It was very fun to watch.

    I had the bug two games back-to-back just now- once when picking someone off of a gen and once when using my power. I had to DC both times and then I got a timeout penalty. Would it be possible to remove those from my account? Not sure if it is.

    I had the same thing happen to me. I was the survivor, Wesker got me and I was on his back until I dcd. The killer dcd and then froze in place, I was still stuck on his back. I waited for the end game collapse but nothing happened so I had to dc. Here is my video:

    Had the same issue occur playing today and yesterday as well. survivor got stuck on my back after I slam them on obstacles, and I can't ludge or use ability nor do any actions etc. yesterdays is the survivor stuck on my feet resulting i can't do actions or powers but i can ludge. and i have seen this occured like 5 days ago when playing as survivor. and this issue seems only occur on wesker.

    Commenting to confirm this bug is still in the newest iteration (May 15th) of 2v8. Including a screenshot taken from a Discord server that I'm in (with permission). Very frustrating as a Wesker main, especially considering that the last 2v8 was several months ago, and this was a known bug at the time.

    I have a few friends wondering if BHVR knows about this bug, maybe nobody has reported it this time around, but I keep trying to explain that they have marked any new reports as duplicates, which means obviously they DO know the bug still exists.

    This bug is still happening in the current iteration of 2v8. I understand if there’s no ETA on a fix currently but is the team aware of this issue?

    He did say he was passing it along to the team. I am sure they will fix it soon. They have fixed other bugs during 2v8, like map issues just as one example. Also I think the question should be. "This bug was a problem in the last version of 2v8 and it was reported. Why weren't we able to fix it? Do we need more data?"

    Happened to me on PS4 again.

    On RPD - Wesker grabbed me and we were stuck in the doorway.

    Couldn´t move or do anything.

    We stood there till endgame - after the timer was out it still took about 1 minute until endscreen.

    This is still an issue, forces the impacted killer to wait even longer after the already abysmal queue time. It's wild that this wasn't fixed before this iteration of 2v8.
