Text chat for console?
Currently, people on Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo Switch, can't access the text chat. Could we get a text chat implemented soon(i.e the next few months at minimum)?

As far as I know, first of all, these are restrictions of the console copyright holders themselves, so bhvr needs to contact Sony Microsoft and Nintedno, at least that's what they said before

No I do to see qq babies who loses and tells me to off myself or whine about what I did not or did not do or what i run etc. Ty god sony says no and gave us annon mode back. Btw does switch have annon mode too?

They've said repeatedly they have no plans to add it. And without keyboard support either it wouldn't matter much.
I'd be very surprised if our PC cousins are willing to wait around fourteen minutes for me to painfully type out a sentence with my controller! 🤣

Are you too sensitive that you can't take a little criticism? For someone playing DBD you should have a tougher skin and not let words from people you don't rate get to you.

I wish they could at least SEE the text chat even if they can't type. So many games I've had such nice experiences with console players who then cannot see what I'm saying or even add me as a friend after.

Behavior is against equality, that’s the only reason I can think of, why they haven’t added it yet.

That is not a thing, that should stop them. I know so many games with a text chat and dbd should be able to implement that if behavior is for equality.
I much more prefer being able to chat with someone slowly over not being able to communicate at all.

It's not being about no sensitive and someone telling you to off yourself is no criticism. I do not use vc in any games that have it as the toxicness is 90% of time with nut buckets it is why I have my own community and discord as its 100% no toxicness.

I understand you, I also don't appreciate the negative things people say just because they had a bad game or a team mate made mistakes. But I don't let words get to me. I leave my cart on PlayStation open so I can say and receive GGs, it was because my chat was on I was able to learn and make the DBD friends I have now. I have never met them IRL but we share DBD and now other games too. So I'll like default chat to be available for console.
