Preventing Go Next

What if someone else already decided they don't care and go next. What if Survivor have a bad match where 2 are sacrificed before 2 Generators are complete. Or if griefing is going on and no one wants anything to do with the griefer. Seems like these so called QOL just punish. It's easier for Killer is just throw and farm when they abandon a match. Would they get punished for playing in a way that they decided to go next?

Then you stay in the match and do your best! If you don't feel like playing the game, there is a cute little button on the bottom left of the main menu screen that will close the application and free up your time to playing a game you actually want to load into and play!

No I got better idea just play custom matches and the moment we get killer bots implemented we can just play with bot killers and we will no longer need to play against toxic killers. Pretty much end of story honestly. I am just waiting for them to release killer bots to play as survivor. Playing with toxic human killers sucks a lot.

Just wait for behaviour to release killer bots into custom games so you can have fun there. Honestly I preffer bot killers rather than toxic killers

This reads like the mentality of "they did it so i have to too!". Okay so just because someone gives up doesn't mean you have to as well. I've had plenty games of survivor where I have gotten out after someone gave up on first hook for whatever reason. Just play the game normally and you shouldn't get punished.

Because 1v3 is the beginning of the end. 1v2 is game over.
This whole patch is like sticking a piece of chewing gum in failing foundation. It won't stop the inevitable fail.

It is actually more fun than playing against toxic people as I said. At least the bots are not t bagging me every second or if its a bot killer he won't be camping me, hitting on hook, or have a loadout that is outright unfun. Also do I have to remind you that playing against players actually doesn't give you anything anyways. What is the point of bloodpoints when they are almost worthless and in cutom you HAVE ACCESS TO ALL PERKS so its actually fair game and not p2win if you play with friends. And yeah playing the custom game with friends is more fun because none of you try to be ######### to one another.

This is never the correct move for a developer. It's arrogance. If you have a problem with players not wanting to complete matches, you have to actually address those problems. Punishing them will only cause the player counts to hemorrhage. I have seen this countless times with MMOs since the 90s. It's always the beginning of the end when the developers says "The game isn't the problem, it's the players." I hope I'm wrong here.

I smacked a survivor. With trapper, no perks or addons, No traps at all. And they died on hook. Tf BHVR supposed to do here?

While for the most part you're right about the BP thing... you also don't get shards though. In normal gamemode, you have the option to grind shards and earn a good portion on the characters that way. While this might not matter as survivor since it's just skins and you get the perks... it DOES matter as killer.

Yeah congrats on being right for that. The only way to buy killers is to play insufferable games in solo que. Kinda sad reality honestly.

They don't know you don't have perks or add-ons
Pretty sure this only happens if you down them at the very beginning of the match, with gens still untouched most of the time
Since the game allows you to go immediately back to the hook after they are saved, with no penalty, they know they can be sent back to the hook in seconds
They don't feel like playing a game like this, or better saying, "not" playing the game at all
And then they want to die

EDIT: oh, and how can I forget, imagine if the map is Lampkin Lane or Thompson House, or Forgotten Ruins

So don't down someone with no gens done, don't nerf yourself to no perks or addons because the survivors will act like you have them anyway. Dont hook because survivors will assume you'll eventually go back. Don't play trapper on haddonfield,coldwind, or borgo. Did I miss anything?
Edit: Oh yeah and don't slug. So better yet don't down anyone until all gens are done and just walk away so they can leave. Peak gameplay.
Even as a pure 50/50 player this is annoying.

Nothing. Maybe put them in their own separate queue, but that's it. Address the extreme power difference between a 4v1, 3v1, and 2v1. Make the go next less impactful for the players who aren't doing it, and make players less likely to go next when a teammate doesn't have their monitor turned on and is on death at 5 gens. Make it so a 1k isn't an automatic 3k+ if it happens before 3 gens. There's an opportunity to actually address core issues with game flow that have existed for 9 years instead of slapping a band-aid on what is largely a symptom.

Ironically I never do. Most of my games that are landslide victories are exactly what this feature is supposed to fix. I down a survivor. They go next on hook. And now the other 3 die because at the first down one person decided they didn't wanna play anymore. Same thing happens for me all the time on survivor. We have 3 people on gens. One person gets downed first. They purposefully die on hook. We all die. Is that fun that one person can decide to troll everyone with no consequence? Also serious question. They signed up for this game. They know what they are gonna face in it. It's a game with a pretty predictable loop. Your gonna be downed eventually. Whether it's first or 4th.
