People, for the most part, become loud when they are unhappy. When they enjoy something, they dont see any reason to speak up.

Keep the 400 xp, and I won't mind as much. 2v8 basically forces me to play survivor all the time. I can't swap back and forth to keep it fresh. The bloodpoints makes me not care though.
Get rid of that…yeah.... not very fun for very long, and I can't sit in a lobby more than a few minutes b4 I leave. Hate waiting

Hate to break it to you. But most people who play DBD ain't out here on these online streets. Most of the people here are the hardcore DBD fans, which usually lean towards the 1v4 mode. But a lot of the non-average dbd players tend to lean towards the 2v8.

A lot of people seem to be willing to wait it out since the queue still long. But I have yet to see these 30 minutes wait time, and I played all 3 2v8 iterations.

Na no one's waiting that long even when it first dropped the longest queue I've ever had had been around 19 minutes. I've also played all 3 exclusively as killer.

I hope you guys plan to make 2v8 permanent at some point, with ALL bloodpoint offerings enabled, 10 Bloody Party Streamers or Cakes would be amazing!!

I hate that mode, it's either play survivor, or wait 20 mins in queue for a 4-5 mins match and repeat...
Good thing is that 2v8 = a break from dbd, so I can try new games. In last iteration i tried phasmophobia and I have played it more than dbd since... Maybe I can find a new game that replaces dbd

For me it's basically a 10/15 min queue time for a 10/15 or even 20 minutes match.😁

Gee didn't see that coming… I'm still confused they needed a survey to know the majority wanted it extended. Seemed pretty obvious. The only people against it were the loud minority as usual.

Avg Times according to recent stats are 11 mins. For me I wait 9 to 11 minutes. Never 30. Not sure where you are located that you are waiting 30 mins.

I think they're referring to the possible killer wait times when there's no BP incentives for ppl to play survivor.

I honestly only voted to have the BP-Bonus. I dont play 2v8 and I am happy that they keep the BP-Bonus for 1v4, even if they lowered it.

I want to be able to play killer in 1 vs 4. The que takes ages, that’s also why I voted against it.

....well hopefully there's a survey at the end of all this because I realized of BS Trapper is in this game mode. He's not bad to face but terrible to play you don't start with all your traps and large maps means having to walk across the map to grab it and place it somewhere plus in the end no map pressure at all. Overall not really happy getting a 2v8 extension since most of it is waiting for killer. I know bots were bad but at least they reduced the time somewhat. Plus I really don't get much of the hype with 2v8 cool more players and fun for the first few days but after a week I mostly just sit there play a match and call it a day since fun fact not much goes on. Lights out and Choas at least last a week and to shake things up but 3 weeks of 2v8 aka nearly a month kinda gets boring after a while since you don't have the mix and match of perks or unpredictability of Choas or the scares or on edge of lights out. I noticed when playing survivor if your playing against a Trapper you have a slight higher chance of winning because of the fact no map pressure. I never see Nurse, Wraith, Hillbilly, Deathslinger so it's mostly Blight, Nemesis, Wesker and Legion. So overall 2v8 could just remove some killers and replace them why not instead of Nurse through in I don't know Unknown basically switch out killers once and a while to shake things up.

I started playing after bots were removed and have been having fun for the most part. I see 2v8 still suffers from the problem of putting brand new players who have no clue what they’re doing in with other players who have thousands of hours. I guess that’s really no different from normal 1v4 mode, though.

i called it in the first version of 2v8 that 2v8 would become the game mode for a majority of the dbd players 2v8 fixes 95% of the problem that 1v4 has on top of being is supper casual friendly lmfao most ppl didn't believe me here we are

It's a stark departure from normal gameplay
It can capture the 2nd largest group of survivor players (group of 2) into the Killer role.
It allows Killer players to take part in the typically second largest group of Survivor player (being tag-team) and the appeal of increased strength (solo adding another Killer).
Lights out and Chaos Shuffle don't offer much gameplay differentiation in comparison. (Apart from BP bonuses, catering to the grinder and opportunist)

I'm still in 2 minds about 2V8. It's both the worst and best experience you can have playing DBD. If the Killers are top tier and know how to play their characters or if they're a KWF that sticks together to follow cage spawns around the map, this mode is misery to play. If the Killers are a bit more chill, then it can be enjoyable.
It's still mostly fun so I'm glad to see it extended, but I do worry that the longer it stays around, the more likely it will be that players will optimise the fun out of the mode or that more casual players will drop out by attrition (just like what has happened in 1V4).

I'm glad they extend it i enjoy it more then 1v4 my only thing they didn't add more classes for survivors, but overall I'm enjoying it
