The Executioner

Hey guys I want to give feedback on this killer. I think the killer is fine but there are little issues that I feel needs to be added. Lots of players either DC or give up on first hook when they go against him. In my opinion just hear me out. I think the torment cages need to have base kit borrowed time when freeing a teammate from the cage. All the second chance perks should be active as well like Off the Record, Decisive Strike, Resurgence, etc. The killer gets notified when you unhook someone from the cage and all he does is go over and tunnel that survivor for free. If the cages count as a hook stage than it should work like a actual hook stage or have a certain amount of times u can be caged like hooks. Anyways just thought I can share my opinion on that :)

a little endurance off cages is the only justifiable change he needs and that’s because survivors shouldn’t be denied a second chase

We don’t need to gut a killer that is barely played by nerfing the one thing that considers him strong

If you wanna use your second chance perks

Maybe just don’t step on his trails lol

I'd love to see him reworked in a way which makes him more fun and approachable to use and also fun to interact with as such an iconic killer.

His cages having no way to counter them are annoying, and his trails are equally as annoying to put down, and his power is harder to aim than most killers ranged powers but I'm not very good at him admittedly.

Are ya'll for real right now. I wouldn't care if they removed the notification he gets when u free them from the cage. He literally goes there and tunnels the person without BT or second chance perks for free? Sometimes u have to step in the torment depending on the situation.

This is dumb. The cages teleport away automatically when he gets near, it's a 100% safe rescue.

The fact that that he ignores 2nd chance perks and doesnt give basekit BT is because it does not really count for a hook for basically everything: included his own perks. He also cannot use perks like Pain Res or Pop with his cages, so its a double edge sword.

Also if he manages to torment you its mostly on your fault. You can only step on the trails because of two reasons:

    • You were unaware of it
    • He did put the trail while chasing you in a loop and instead of leaving the loop you decided to stay and step on it

He is supposed to be rewarded when caging you. He already got nerfed by the aura of the cage not being shown to him (initially he was able to see the cage's aura).

The cages were initially the only ones which had the skillchecks instead of the "press space bar non-stop" the hooks had. Now both hooks and cages are the same on that regard. If you keep removing those things that make cages unique then at the end there will be no reason to cage unless you want to ignore a flashlight save. Depending on where you are when you down a survivor and where the other survivors are, sometimes is even more worth to hook the survivor instead of sending him to a cage already.

I think the entire point of cages is to skip the pick up animation, the time to reach a hook, and the hook animation, this is a precious gain of time.

I don't think the point is to tunnel?

I didn't say that. I am okay if they get a small Endurance Boost out of the cage, however that would be about it.
