ban system for survivors
Should we have a ban system while playing as survivor? Let's say once a day you can ban up to 3 killers for the next hour or so….
What if this system presents your available choices based on the killers you faced the most in that day/week/month? Because it's annoying to go against the same character (not players) over and over. Also, I feel this would provide insightful data around balancing issues. Please consider it 🙏

Edit: ⚠️Big-bad-wolf SWF solution: the player hosting the lobby is the only one responsible for banning.

SWFs would be able to weaponise this to ban a third of the roster.
I get a dislike for seeing certain killers, but not everything is going to be exactly what you want. Sorry.

Yeah, that's not happening.
Kinda like if only killers could decide what maps can't be played.

Brother, there're 38 playable killers in the game and they just keep coming…. how exactly will SWFs "weaponise" this hypothetical ban system?
Especially taking into account that the system's gonna present your available options based on the killers you faced the most in that day/week/month? For instance, the system sets up a roster of 6 killers and you can ban up to 3 of them.
And it's not a dislike for certain killers, but a fatigue of facing the same character for the third time in a row repeatedly

I'd understand your opinion if we could just ban any character, but the system is built around variety. To discourage chronic playstyles, or in the least give survivors an opportunity to face other killers.

Doesn't matter if it is full time or limited. It's still one sided system, which would be used to gain unfair(imo) advantage.
Killers wouldn't ban maps for variety, they would simply ban always same map, which is worst for the killer.
I can't see most survivors using it for variety neither, they would simply ban 1 killer they hate most, or die most.
Maybe system you can turn on/off that would try to give you variety of killers with cost of longer queue times. I personally wouldn't want it, but I bet there is few players who would like to wait. It's definetly not something players should be able to decide themselves and there is no reason for it, if you just want variety.
Issue is with cost of longer queue times, it would be used by minority in my opinion and is not worth dev's time.

Forcing people to play killers they don't like or may not even have or get multi hour queue times is stupid. The killers are not there to make sure you have fun.

Do killers get to ban Survivor perks?
I'd love to stop seeing Dead Hard and Windows on 3/4 people in each lobby.2 -
you gagged me there, but that's alright.
I get it, an one-sided system wouldn't be fun, since there's no point to ban survivors in return (or even perks, add-ons, etc — we already got a game mode for that).

Very easily. You ban the killers that are actually good and only have to face the rest.

that's why I specified the ban would only be active for an hour or so once a day, but I get it.
