Yes, they are really good. I think the only thing they still need is a killer instinct that is not dependent on your terror radius.

Yes and I'm so excited this is killer deserved love after so long of be deemed "hardest killer"

Yeah the "hardest killer" title was given to me when I won a match and someone told me not to play legion as the killer is hard to play so maybe they were exaggerating

    Overall good,

The deep wounds only really hurts lower skill survivors, where you don't really need any help against them anyway. Against higher level survivors, legion is now more of a threat with the faster fatigue and moving faster. You can now better body block them, cancel power, and potentially get a solid hit similar to wraith.

Solo survivors will hate these changes.
I'm most concerned about the cooldown reduction.

All great and needed buffs. Excited to take Legion for a spin, and I hope people are not too quick complain about the changes.

Yeah, pretty much this. Legion needs a little extra utility, since he can't really end chases using his power if people split up. Making Legion get better map control through a base kit Frank's Mixtape seems like the one buff that would make this killer way better and have much nicer game feel without being oppressive or anymore annoying to survivors

I can't comment until I see the addon adjustments but otherwise it seems OK

I'm not one of those "thana dying light" slowdown legions so these changes are looking fine so far

Hopefully finally nerfing the add on that makes his power last twice as long nearly guaranteeing multiple 4 hit chains. Nothing i love more than being in a complete opposite corner of the map fully aware of what the killer is going for and still getting 1 hit downed because "meme" add on.

you know never sleep slows frenzy to 4.6, and also any hit with a pallet means loss of all pressure?

  • Member Posts: 1,600

Yea. I also know it doesn't matter when everyone runs it with the add on that increases your speed with every chain hit. And relying on playing pallet chicken with latency and hit validation is not a strong strategy. Nor is wasting a pallet every 15 seconds with the upcoming cooldown buff.

Especially fatigue buff makes it worth imo.

ItIt's A meme because it's a detriment compared to playing them normally. It's played because it's fun, not because it's good. It's like speed limiter

Basically straight-up across the board buffs in exchange for Deep Wound being less threatening.

DW had basically zero threat anyways, sooooooo

The buff is deserved. Hopefully nobody goes complaining. He clearly was buffed based off his kill rate and I’m sure it was extremely low. Most legions I go against never win so at least matches would be more challenging.

    YES!

Goodbye Trapper and Skull Merchant, we're heading for the heady heights of the bottom of C tier, folks!

Joking aside, I'm glad to see Legion finally get some buffs. They've had a few indirect but minor nerfs over the last year or so, like the recent deep wound change, the anti 3 gen system and MFT being reworked to be activated by their power.

Some of these buffs go further than I personally would, especially the fatigue cool down and movement speed increase. Overall, I think the changes should give them more effectiveness in chase, more opportunities to get the full value of their power and will also (hopefully) mean that players can move away from the grindy, tedious slowdown playstyle that Survivors generally hate to go up against. That said, nothing here makes them into a new Killer or anything, so that aspect of their power will probably always be a part of playing them effectively.

The Feral Frenzy cool down reduction is especially huge for newer players (and those of us playing on older platforms) who tend to be more susceptible to whiffing due to 360s and FOV techs. I don't play Legion (or Killer in general) much on the Switch, but when I do I often use the Scratched Ruler add-on. So seeing that become base-kit is a very nice change.

Anyway, I'm excitied to try them out on the next PTB. I don't normally participate because it takes ages to download anything with my Internet, but I think I will this time so I can give some feedback.

Good, but I think there's gonna be a huge backlash, and then they'll just nerf him worse than he was before.

  • Member Posts: 119

Yeah probably😞 but I hope I can enjoy it while it last

    These updates are very positive.

Hopefully the add-ons won't get tanked, but otherwise, a good change.

They need to make list fully basekit, increase legion’s base frenzy vault speed, and increase base frenzy running speed from 5.2 to 5.6 m/s so using Legion’s power for distance is more rewarding. Legion would actually be good in chase. C-tier to low A easily.
