About 6,000 hours and this game still scares me
I'm still afraid of stealth Killers when I'm a Survivor, especially playing past midnight.
I tend to get at least one Pig and one Ghostface if I play SoloQ between midnight and around 5AM.
I have never built a tolerance to them.
Are you ever jumpscared by certain Killers or perks such as Trial of Torment?

Heck, when I'm playing killer, sometimes I get jumpscared by a survivor that was hiding at a pallet who jumps out of nowhere to pallet stun, ha!

If we're talking about jumpscares, absolutely I still get got. But half the time it's not a killer, but a surv just camping a random pallet for no earthly reason and just drops it on my face.
Or scratched mirror Myers on an indoor map. And you know it's coming, but it still gets you. Which is why SM Myers can be about as fun as this game gets.

Stealth killers still gets me, Sadako when I put a tape in and she comes out at the same time gets me, Unknown when I am dispelling a hallucination and he teleports to it. JESUS! Dredge still gets me in nightfallβ¦.very eyrie boogie man.

I'm so guilty of doing that π I love pallet scaring the Killer.

The one I don't like is Ghostface because it's so quick for him to mark and the reveal mechanic is messy (although sometimes beneficial)

the one time I was jumpscared was when I was turning a corner chatting with my friend walking to the next generator then I see a 6 foot tall man holding a harpoon gun aiming right at me but not too much stealth killers

the reveal should be worked on a bit tbh to make it more fair for both sides.
Kinda ruins the jumpscare when you hear his sound playing in an open area.2 -

Yes. An Onryo pulled me off a gen yesterday. I canβt help but scream and implode into a laugh attack every time that happens to me. π€£π€£π€£
But I find reading books helps keep my mind primed for spooky/magical experiences.
I love how youβre still scared of pig. I remember you mentioning that like maybe over a year ago, and I thought it would be funny to show you a giant Pig picture from Saw. Suffice it to say I donβt think you appreciated it the way I thought you would, sorry Count π ππ

I have a perk build that is heavy on stealth.
"Clown's house of jumpscares!"
Lary's offering:Tinkerres, Hex: Plaything, unforseen, and Dark Devotion.

That would be a nightmare at night. The clown pooping up or off no where would make my jump out of my skin

Even though he is one of the weaker killers, still get nervous running through grass against a Trapper. Had a match where I hadn't spotted the killer yet and ran into a trap in the grass and that was one of the first jumpscares I had in a while.
I do feel quite a bit of nerves loading in the match until I see the killer and feel quite a bit of relief when they are a stealth killer. Hillbilly might demolish us, but less stressful to go against.
