i am begging to remove finisher mori finally

i‘m tired of getting slugged every match like i literally can’t stand the slugging anymore!

i don’t care if i die but getting slugged for minutes only because the Killer can mori you is frustrating!!
This was literally the dumbest desicion ever …

Never going to haopen. The Devs just care about Killer experience to the point of trapping Survivors in matches so Killers can have a decent match.

You and I are in agreement. It's been quite some time since the finisher mori was implemented, but it remains the case that there are killers that will slug and wait to get past any obstacles to get their mori. Now, after being slugged for 4k, it's common for a survivor to be picked up, carried somewhere in tbe open, dropped, and then moried. So after having to wait through being slugged for several minutes, the survivor is forced to watch the killer carry them around and do their mori.

Meanwhile, prior to the update, the killer picking you up and carrying you somewhere away from a hook would usually mean they were going to show mercy and probably give hatch. I think I can count on one hand the number of hatches I've seen given since the finisher mori was implemented. And that's not to say it should be expected, but that practice is largely gone.

On top of that, the finisher mori removes the possibility of some of the most exciting endgames, where in the past the survivor and killer might have to deal with a survivor wiggling free after having been dropped, or maybe having used a perk to get free. I find those the most dramatic and fun as a survivor and as killer.

And all of that is so that we have moris be more common, which doesn't add much to the game. BHVR could make it better by putting conditions around awarding the mori so that:

    1. it's only accessible if slugging for 4k didn't occur,
    2. only award the mori if the killer carries the survivor to a hook and drops them there, so perks and gameplay aren't bypassed, and
    3. make the mori skippable by the survivor being moried if they want. So the killer still gets their mori, but the survivor isn't forced to watch it if they feel like it's the killer just showing off or are otherwise not wanting to watch the mori.

That could be used to make moris available more often while not impacting the game in a negative way, and even improve the game overall by discouraging slugging for 4k. But there's still an issue that it has led to lower rates of people giving hatch, which doesn't need to be a thing, but does seem to have a positive impact on the community. Overall, I agree, and would prefer that the finisher mori be removed. Maybe I'd get excited to play survivor again :)

you win the award for the best comment someone could have made

so instead of a 4-10 second mori animation (the hook animation will take the same amount of time) you prefer that killer, avoiding second chance perks, leaves you on the ground for 4 minutes?

Would you really otherwise waste several minutes of your time and someone else's? A vast majority of players aren't going to do that. This feels very much like a made-up reason to argue for the finisher mori, or maybe trolling. And I don't mean to accuse you of deliberate behavior like that. It's just that the suggestion feels very contrived since I think most of us don't value winning at a game we play for fun so much that we'd wait for several minutes, forcing another player to wait during that time also, just to ensure the other player can't have a chance to enjoy the game.

maybe we play different games, but in my games survivors will always destroy their ctrl when they get to the gate, and the killer will always want to get 4k even if the killer has to wait 4 minutes at the body of the survivor

The endgame mori has no affect on slug rates, literally none or so little it's easier attributed to a rounding error than an effect. The same people who "slug for mori" are the people who'd just slug for the 4k anyway.

Bhvr just needed to not back away from having the finished mori happen automatically when all survivors are slugged out hooked. Making it just cypress mori basekit forces people to wait for everyone else to die despite survivors already having lost

It sounds like we almost do play two different games. It's extremely rare for me to see survivors teabagging at the gate. Occasionally I'll get someone trying to provoke me into staying in chase by teabagging so their teammates get a chance to finish a gen, but it's been a long time since I saw someone teabag at the gate just to bm.

And as far as killers, I don't play as much survivor as I used to, so I see less now. But when I do play survivor, and when I watch streamers playing, I see a lot of proxy camping, hard tunneling, and slugging for 4k. The finisher mori was what tipped it over the edge for me. There's barely a reason to play that side of the game when most games will have one or more of various bm behaviors and then get capped off by a mori. It's absolutely unrewarding to play survivor. Unfortunately, I'll still play survivor for tomes :(

To prove op point here is an example and I suggest start yall start doing this of recordings yoo ( i died and spectated) so pathetic. Either remove it or instead of yellow mori base kit, make it be green mori base kit meaning survivor must be on hook 2.
