About "exploiting" the anti gen tap.

It came to my attention these days the issue that some survs are kinda exploiting the Anti Gen Tap mechanic.
You repair the gen for a max of 4,9% and then stop. Since regression is a quarter of a charge per second and repair goes as 1 charge/s you can keep doing this until the gen is completed.
This way the killer will not know there's a surv repairing it and will be unable to kick it also.
Will also report it in the bugs section.

Its not a bug. And literally nobody does this for a reason: its ineffective beyond anything.

Ran into this sometimes in 2v8 and found out some streamers also doing this.

It's only really effective at completely denying the ability to apply killer gen perks to the gen, but it does come at the cost of it automatically regressing if they get chased off the gen. It's a weird tactic, but I doubt BHVR cares about the effects of it enough to fix it.

This is the dumbest way to work on a gen.
Chase them off. The gen is regressing by their choice, and they lose progress. It's free ruin.
This isn't common, and if this is happening by a handful of people, one missed skill check is a huge setback. Also, this isn't gen rushing, it's deliberately slower.
This doesn't even work against jolt or pain res. You're literally mad they're playing inefficiently because you want to kick a gen. (If this is even happening at all, which I doubt except for maybe memes).

In 2v8 100% of killers run Nowhere to Hide so it makes sense. Killers also didn't have the time to question things very hard so "gen=regressing? Nobody home move on". You just had to keep the Call of Brine in mind.
It's working as intended. It's just...not much of a good reason to normally.

repeatedly getting on and off a gen will likely lead to blown last second skill checks
